Chapter 21

Chen Ke is out and keep finding the people who was kidnapped that time, she keep asking them about questions of the bracelet and seems hopeless.

Until she got into a coffee shop, she take a sip of her coffee and the stress can see in her face. And someone suddenly enter and call her name, "Police Chen!" She said and Chen Ke look at her.

"Oh.. Here!" Chen Ke said and wave her hand.

The woman approach her and shake hands with her, "Sorry if I'm late." The woman said and Chen Ke shook her head and smile, "No, it's alright." Chen Ke said and sit in the opposite chair.

"What's your name again?" Chen Ke asked, "My name is Luo Duan."

Chen Ke get a paper and a pen and say, "I'll just ask some few questions, and I'll be straight to the point.. Did someone gave you a bracelet that time?" Chen Ke asked and Luo Duan shook her head.

"No.. No one give me a bracelet.. But I remember a girl name Zhou Shiyu had a bracelet in her wrist." The girl said and Chen Ke show a puzzled expression.

"You're saying that Zhou Shiyu had the bracelet?" Chen Ke asked and Luo Duan shook her head, "I'm not sure.. There's also a little girl who had a bracelet in her wrist... There's one night that both of them escape but Zhou Shiyu was caught up and was beaten up after that." Luo Duan explain and Chen Ke seems realizing something.

"Police Chen.. Police Chen, are you okay?" Luo Duan wake Chen Ke's senses and Chen Ke smile and say, "Yeah. I am. Something just came in my mind, so... Thank you for your cooperation, I really appreciate it.. And sorry for disturbing you." Chen Ke said and stand up, "I'm happy to help." Luo Duan said and shake hands with her again.

"Goodbye." Luo Duan said and leave her.

Chen Ke seems puzzled a bit, "Maybe Zhou Shiyu is the person that Wang Yi finding?" Chen Ke whisper to herself and seems very puzzled about it.

"Breaking news... Fan Xiyong got her another victim again.. Last night, CCTV camera caught him kidnapping a child in Jiaxing road at 10:37 pm at night... Please don't let your children go out at night." The newscaster said and Chen Ke was so shock to hear that.

(Back to Wang Yi)

Wang Yi is signing some documents while her TV is open, a news suddenly just came and say, "Breaking news... Fan Xiyong got her another victim again.. Last night, CCTV camera caught him kidnapping a child in Jiaxing road at 10:37 pm at night... Please don't let your children go out at night"

And hearing it makes Wang Yi to be so shock, some voices suddenly come back in her head and hearing them makes her head ache. Wang Yi get her medicine and immediately swallow one.

Her hands are trembling and Wang Yi felt so scared.

Zhou Shiyu enter and saw her, Zhou Shiyu immediately approach her and embrace her tight. "It's okay.. It's okay." Zhou Shiyu said and try calming her down.

Wang Yi calm down a bit but she's still trembling.

"Hey guys!" Shen Mengyao and Yuan Yiqi arrive but they stop after seeing Wang Yi being so scared, "What happened?" Yuan Yiqi asked and approach them.

"She's having panic attacks." Zhou Shiyu said and Wang Yi slowly calm down, Zhou Shiyu keep patting her shoulders and embrace her tight.

(Back at Chen Ke)

Chen Ke go in the office of the major police and she salute at him, "Sir, Lieutenant Chen Ke, reporting for duty." Chen Ke said and Major Liu also salute at her.

"Please have a sit, Lieutenant Chen."

Chen Ke sit down and say, "Why did you call me here, Major Liu?" Chen Ke asked, "I will straight to the point... Fan Xiyong is out there again, kidnapping kids.. And by that, I want you to handle this case." Major Liu said and Chen Ke was a bit surprised.

"Major Liu, I think I can't. Father will never let me hold the case of Fan Xiyong." Chen Ke said and Major Liu look so problematic about it, "Please don't tell this to general Chen.. You know how skilled he is, but now he no longer can't hold cases because of his age." Major Liu said and Chen Ke sigh deeply.

"I know.. He'll probably scold me, but I won't mind... I want to bring Fan Xiyong back in jail." Chen Ke said and Major Liu show a smile, "I'm glad that you had your father's bravery." Major Liu said and continue to smile.

Chen Ke show a cold expression and stand up, Chen Ke salute and say, "Can I now excuse myself, sir?" Chen Ke asked and Major Liu nod multiple times and salute back at her, "Thank you for your hard work." He said and Chen Ke just nod.

Chen Ke coldly leave and walk in the hallway, her phone suddenly rang and she saw that it was Wang Yi so she answer it.

"Hello?" Chen Ke asked.

"Sister Chen.. I wanted to invite you to a party, my uncle Ji is coming. I'll just text you the address." Wang Yi said and hang up the call, she didn't even let Chen Ke talk.

Chen Ke just sigh and suddenly remember something.

"Ji? Is that Wang Ji?" She asked herself and suddenly remember that she read a file that Wang Ji maybe involved to any human trafficking.

"It could be that.... Wang Yi is in danger?" She asked herself and rush back to her office, she get a file from 8 years ago of Fan Xiyong's case.

She check every pages and suddenly saw Wang Ji's profile on the file.

"Wang Ji, suspicious brother of Wang Jie maybe involved to any human trafficking and other drug syndicates? But none of the evidence proved that he's involved." Chen Ke read it and she felt like something is wrong with it.
