"24 hours huh?" Matt asked.
"Yes 24 hours!" I reply frantically, "what are we going to do in 24 hours? I can't take on Ryan and Kevin let alone the Lord of Darkness"
"Cyrus, settle down. You won't have to face them alone, you'll have me right by your side the entire time. Now, tell me exactly what Vala said to you". I take deep breaths and try to restrain my body from shaking itself apart.
"Well, after getting a few minutes of sleep-"
"Wait a minute," Matt said cutting me off, "a few minutes? Cyrus, we've been sleeping for several hours"
"What? We have?"
"Yeah, I guess being in a different time plane messes with the body and mind"
"That's it!" I said, "we just go to a slower time plane and train until we're ready!"
"Cyrus, don't you remember what I said earlier? When the Prophecy is in a different time plane, it'll just speed up the process". I moan and tilt my head back which caused me to fall and smack my head against ground. I felt stupid. I should've never gone to dimension no. 421. I could have plenty of time to train harder if I never went to that dimension.
"I'm sorry," Matt said holding his hand out to lift me back up.
"Why are you apologizing?" I ask while taking his hand lifting myself by his side.
"I told you to investigate that dimension in hopes that we can find Negozen, but all I did was speed up the time. So much for containing him huh?" he said giving me a weak smile.
"It's not your fault, either way I would've gone there and wasted the time anyways. What are we going to do?" I ask.
"Not sure, I wasn't prepared for the war to come so soon. What else did Vala tell you?"
"Something about 'one must be sacrificed, one that should not have been in this reality' and that I need to use my Koredon skill if I am to stand a chance against anyone"
"Hmm. I'm not sure who must be sacrificed, and how you use your Koredon skill is up to you," he said.
"How does learning things really fast help me in the war?" I say, fiddling with both my necklaces,
"Depends, how fast can you learn things?" he asked. This made me start thinking. I had never even once considered the speed at which I can learn skills, especially Koredon skills.
"I-I don't know," I replied.
"Well then, if you're to stand any chance in the war, I'd suggest you and I start training your skill," He said standing up and brushing off the dirt from his pants.
"How?"
"I'm going to teach you a few Ancient techniques. It might be hard since you're not an Ancient yet, but with your skill, I'm sure you can handle it". We both hike around until we see a big open space. Considering this was a forest, there were minimal trees in the area and long grass covering the majority of the ground. No bodies of water seemed to be present, but all the plant life looked lush and lively.
"Alright, what do I do?" I ask.
"You know how to cast spells right?" he asked.
"Yeah, it's pretty simple"
"What about forbidden spells?"
"No, I've never heard of a forbidden spell"
"You shouldn't have. The Ancient Sorcerer created spells of immense power and I'll bet that Kevin will use some of those forbidden spells during the war. We'll start with the forbidden titan summoning"
