I'm going to be honest with you, I have no idea how basketball works. Or any sports at all. It's actually weird, seeing as it's a Thursday night and a game Is going on. It's nearly eight a' clock at night. I guess it's not that weird. I stayed after school until five, when the game started. I sat in the Hellfire club room with Max and discussed pop culture while Dustin and Mike and Eddie played Dungeons and dragons. They always complain whenever I use the term "Play". Lucas usually plays with them, but, of course since it's championship night, he's practicing.

The game ended up finishing five minutes before the basketball game started. We all ran towards the gym and ended up making it, suprisingly. It was a pretty close game, with the Christian academy loosing one point behind us. Jason Carver, who, used to be Chrissy's boyfriend, is the captain of the Hawkins basketball team, and tried scoring the winning point, but missed, so Lucas grabbed the ball and scored the championship. So basically, our best friend is the best. At sports, atleast. We all jumped up and immediately started cheering. The team pulled Lucas up to their shoulders and started cheering their selves, along with the entire gym.

The team went out to celebrate at the local ice cream place, so we all decided to go to Mike wheelers place.

It's Hawkins High tradition that if your schools team wins a championship, no one has school the next day. Honestly I have no idea how the government allows that, but I'm not complaining. I actually see Henry Creel sitting in the corner bleacher across from me. "Hey, I'll be right back." I whisper to max before running off towards him. Pretty much everyone had left the gym besides our tiny group, so i couldn't really hide the fact I was going to talk to Henry Creel, the son of a murderer. "Hey," I smile faintly before sitting down next to him. "Hey." He looks down to me. "What are you doing still here?" I ask. "It's a stupid answer." He shakes his head, looking back down. "Tell me." I shrug. I'm sure it isn't that stupid.

"You feel that?" He asks. "Feel what?" I ask. "Exactly. It's... Quiet in here. Even when there's three hundred students in here, and it smells of sweat and body odor, if you lean up against the wall, like I am right now," he leans up against the wall, "It's quiet." He looks over to me. I'm sure I'm giving him the most confused look right now without even realizing it. "Here, you try it." He stands up, waking over to the seat next to me. I scoot over and lean up against the wall. Sure enough, the kids that were laughing in the background, including my group of loud friends, are all much more quieter then they were a few seconds ago. I look over to him and he has his left eye raised and a smile plastered on his face. "Crazy, isn't it?"

I nod. "Hey, all of us are going over to sleep at Mike Wheelers house since there's no school tomorrow. Would you like to come over?" I ask, pointing to my small group in the corner, not a single one of them not looking at us talking. "Yeah, sure." He smiles. "Great!" I stand up, grabbing his hand. I run back to the group and Eddie looks as if he's about to have an aneurysm. "Hey, Mike is it okay if Henry sleeps over at your house tonight with us?" I ask. "Uh, yeah, sure! I'll have to call my mom and ask but I'm sure she'll be okay with it. Here, follow me." He tilts his head and walks towards the phone in the hallway outside of the gym I'm assuming. Henry catches on and follows after him. "Heather, what the hell are you doing?" Eddie grabs my wrist, pulling me off to the side, where no one can hear us.

"Did you not catch onto the tiny bit not tiny clue I threw to you earlier? You need to stay away from Henry." He looks at me with a serious look on his face. "Why? I don't get it, Eddie. He's a good person. It was his dad who was a psycho and killed everyone."

"No, not everyone. I think there's a reason Henry is the only creel who's alive, excluding Victor."

"What, are you saying Henry committed the murders instead of Victor?!" I scoff, getting a little louder then I hoped for. He sighs. "All I'm saying is I think-"
"Well, Eddie, you thinking is a lot different then you being correct." I glare at him before Mike and Henry come back.
"Hey, my mom said it was fine, so we should all be heading home before it gets too dark."

Eddie and Chrissy drove to Mike's place in Eddies van with Max and Mike, while Robin and Steve drove home with Dustin.

Henry and I both decided to walk to Mike's place, considering it's only a ten minute walk. Much to Steve and Eddie's dismay, of course. Eddie because he believes Henry is a psycho teenage murderer, and Steve just because he's protective over all of his younger friends and whoever they come in contact with.

"Question, why is it Mike's house we're going too?" Henry asks, breaking the much unappreciated silence. "Well, his parents are less strict on bedtimes and they allow us sips of alcohol. Plus they know when to give Mike space."

"My turn. Who are you?" I ask, instantly regretting.
