Hello! Since there is no more content aside from the epigraph (which admittedly does a bit of a poor job at being an epigraph), here is some extra information on what exactly this project is:
1. It is loosely based on "Kate Crackernuts," a Scottish fairy tale. You might hear it called the gender-bent version of "The Twelve Dancing Princesses." This whole project is inspired by Anglo-Scottish folklore, including the Child Ballads, like "Tam Lin."
2. This is a first draft.
3. It's self-indulgent. It is very slow and character-focused. It's also extremely long and wordy and purpley and a bit tedious, because that's how I like to write.
4. It's about 130,000~140,000 words long.
