I went to school the following day with a smile. Nobody noticed but I did. I was happy because for the first time someone cared. I went to my locker and got some things when somebody slammed it shut.

"What do you want?"
"Where's your slut of a bestfriend?"
"Her name's Sofia and we aren't friends."
"Whatever. You should know that you're taking Kyle's time and concentration off of soccer. We aren't happy."

I sit through my classes, listening to my thoughts and looking out the window. The day ended and Kyle saw me.
