We dragged Zatara's parents and my father to the cells so we could interrogate them. Zatara's parents were protesting while my father was walking behind us trying to get us to let them go.

"Sons what are you doing? He is an elder of the counsel." Gorar said.

"Father it's best for you to be quiet" I said walking into the cells hearing Zatara scream.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY DAUGHTER?" Zatara's father yelled.

"What does it look like" Fagra deadpanned

"Why are you doing this?!" Zatara's mother cried from the floor.

"Because she deserves it," I state throwing them into a cell.

Father had gone quiet and was looking at Zatara in horror. Eesni had done a number on her. Her face was bloody, and she was begging to be let free. But she has yet to tell us where Kayla was and I'm starting to get impatient. I walked over to her and grabbed her face to make her look at me.

"Where is Kayla?" I asked squeezing her face tightly and making her cry out.

"You should ask your father," she said looking behind me.

I snapped my head over to him letting her go. I stalked over to him making him back up into the wall. I grabbed him by his neck and choked him.

"Did you do something to my mate" I snarled bringing him close to my face?

"Yes I got rid of that stupid human" He choked out.

"WHY?" I roared slamming him back into the walk making it crumble.

All I could see was red and I needed to kill someone, and it was going to be him. I started hitting him and making him cry out. He tried to hit me back, but I wasn't having it I pushed his arms out of the way and continued to punch him.

I felt someone pull me off of him and I turned around to swing at them, but it was my mother. I stopped myself from raging at her and tried to calm down. I was breathing heavily, and my mother had tears streaming down her face.

"You will never find her" He struggled to get out laughing pulling himself up against the wall.

I lunge at him again, but my mother pulled me back and went over to my father and slapped him. She had tears streaming down her face. He looked at her in shocked. Our father Horu came forward and pulled my mother away from him. He looked so upset with Gorar and I have never seen him like that before.

"How could you harm your son's mate Gorar. I don't understand how you could do that to your striplings and mate. You knew our mate was not satisfied with us and now you have gone and done this." Horu said looking down at Gorar.

"But she came between us and our mate," Gorar pleaded

"I can't back you up anymore in your wrongdoing, Gorar," Horu said turning away with their mate and leaving him.

"Beloved!" Gorar called out trying to get up from the floor, but he was badly injured.

My mother ignored him before Horu left he told us where he thought that our mate might be. Going off of what he said Fagra, and I left for our mate. We left the criminals to Lagor and Eesni while Rebus went with us to find our mate.

We got on the hoovers and left for the brothel. We finally got there and busted through the door. The women were running everywhere, and the men were trying to fight us. We slaughter everyone that got in our way. I grabbed one of the other escorts that were trying to run away.

"Have you seen a human here?" I asked.

She shook in fear shaking her head no. I let her go and she ran out the door. I looked around to see if I could spot her. I saw a Dhuvead going towards a girl on the floor. I looked closer it was the head of the Dhuveads and he was advancing toward Kayla.

I ran towards him as I bypass Fagra. I grabbed him and threw him against the wall away from our mate. Fagra appeared beside me and bent down to look at our mate. She was badly injured, and she was barely breathing.

Something snapped in me, and I turned towards the crumpled up Dhuvead and walked over to him. I then started tearing him limb by limb making him scream out in pain, but it wasn't enough.

He had dared to lay his hands on our mate, so I broke each of his fingers. With each finger I broke he begged for mercy, but I didn't show him any because he didn't show Kayla any.

Finally getting tired of listening to him scream I tore his head from his shoulders. I crushed his skull for extra measures. His blood dripped down my clothes and onto the floor as I walked back out to our mate.

I didn't want to touch her with his footy blood on me, so I walked behind Fagra who was carrying out mate. We rushed on to the Hoover back to the castle.

Horu was waiting for us when we arrived. We rushed into his lavatory and Fagra gently places Kayla on to the medical table. It instantly reads her vitals and started flashing red

"What's happening !" Fagra asks frantically holding our mate's hand.

Goru rushes to our mate and looks at the screen. I feel a sense of dread wash over me. I knew that our mate was dying.

"Goru answer me!" Fagra yelled

"Your mate is dying, and I don't know how to fix her" Goru answered.

"What do you mean you can't fix her? I exclaimed getting upset.

"I don't know how the human my lord. Her health is worsening and the only way I know how to stop it is by putting her in stasis to stop her from dying until I know how to heal her," Goru answered bowing his head.

He always knew how to fix things. He was the person I trusted most to be able to heal her. Now he is telling me my mate is dying and I don't know what to do. I can't lose her. I just found her, and she can't die our striplings need her, we need her.
