I felt my hearts sink when Goru said that he couldn't help our mate. Our mate couldn't die. She just couldn't. Goru placed Kayla in stasis, and he started to look at the worldkives on how to heal Kayla. I started to get livid because it was Zatara and my father's fault that Kayla is fighting for her life. I'm going to make them wish that they weren't born. I stormed out of Goru's Laboratory and down to the cells. On the way I passed by my mother and Horu, who were on the way to see Kayla.

"Son how is your mate?" Father asked with our mother who had a worried look on her face.

"Thanks to my father and Zatara, Kayla is dying and Goru doesn't know how to help her," I snapped my voice wavering a little.

"Oh, my Sasa what are we going to do?" My mother exclaimed falling into Horu's arms crying.

"It's okay beloved if anyone knows how to heal someone it is Goru. I'm positive that he will find a way to heal our son's mate," Horu reassured Patora.

"Now if you will excuse me, I have some business to take care of" I said excusing myself from them.

"Son where are you going?" My mother asked stopping me in my tracks.

"I'm going to give Zatara and our father what they deserve," I growled storming down the corridor.

I ignored my parents who were trying to stop me. I was too mad to stop now it was their fault my mate got kidnapped and it's their fault that we couldn't ask her to marry us. It's their fault that she is barely alive now.

I slam the cell door open and went to the cell that we were housing Zatara and her family in. Her parents where gather around her bruised body from Eesni interrogation earlier. Her mother was crying over her while her mates was trying to console her. My father was in the corner with a blank look on his face which made me upset. He doesn't get the right to be upset because it is his fault that we are in the predicament now.

He doesn't get to be sad because he lost his mate. He should be upset with himself for breaking his mate heart. He deserves everything that is happening to him no one ever stopped him from being happy. But the one thing that makes Sagor and I happy he rips away from us. It was bad enough that he punished us for not being up to his standards. I was starting to forgive him for that but now he goes and do the one thing that will destroy our family. I just can't imagine doing any of my striplings the way he did us. I would rather die than put them through this torment. He crawled over the bars of the cell and reached out for me. I snatched my leg back repulsed by his touch.

"Where is my mate?" He cried out.

"Somewhere you aren't." I state

"I need her. Patora! Patora!" He screamed looking deranged

"She is not coming so be quiet! It's your fault she isn't here and why my mate is fighting for her life. You deserve to die for what you did," I sneered.

"No! No, I want my mate!" he yelled with tears escaping his eyes.

"Well, she isn't coming, and you better be glad I respect my mother because if it wasn't for her, I would kill you right now," I said hitting the bars in anger.

I turned to Zatara and her family who were cowering in the corner. They were trying to cover their daughter from my view, but I don't want to see that veil creature. The next time I see her is when I kill her for treason against the kings. Both of her fathers were giving me dirty looks and I didn't care. I shot them a glare of my own for raising an evil daughter like her.

"The next time we see each other will be your last day living" I said smiling at their stricken looks.

"The council isn't going to let you kill us," Jara said.

"I don't give a fuck what the council has to say. I'm the king and what I say goes. Your end will come soon and it's all thanks to your selfish daughter," I said.

"It's not our daughter fault that you couldn't protect your mate" Hagor

"If you wouldn't have put that stupid thought of her being our queen in her head, none of this would have happened. So, it technically your fault that your whole family is going to die," I growled, wanting to kill them now.

I couldn't kill them without my mate being present and without notifying the council. Not that I give a fuck if they agree or not. If they don't I could just kill them to. I was done talking so I exited the cell and went to find out the status on my mate's conditions. I hope that Goru was able to find a way to cure our mate. If he doesn't find a cure, there is no telling what I will do.

I entered the laboratory where our mate is to our mother and father sitting with Sagor. I walked over to them and sat beside our mother who instantly engulfed me in a hug. I hugged her back pulling back because she started crying again.

"What's wrong mother?" I asked wiping her tears away.

"It's my fault that your mate was harmed," she cried.

"No its not mother its father and Zatara who is obsessed with us," I said shaking my head.

"It's also my fault if I was talking to my mate maybe he wouldn't have blamed your mate," she said sniffling.

"Mother if you talked to father, he still would've helped Zatara. He doesn't approve of our mate, you know how he is when he doesn't approve of something. He does anything to get rid of it," I said rubbing her back to calm her.

"I found something," Goru said cutting off our conversation.
