Several turns have passed, and Kayla still hasn't woken up. I starting to worry because when Zykarians are hurt, we wake up either the same day or the day after depending on our injuries. But Kayla has yet to wake up and I'm starting to get anxious and so are the people in the castle.

I didn't notice that Kayla had such a big presence until the workers started asking where she was. The children who usually are playing all the time are staying in their rooms or stuck under us. My mother has barely been out of her room and my father has been sitting outside of her door every night until he would fall asleep.

The busy castle is at a standstill because of Kayla. The workers are worried about their queen and so are we. It's taking a toll on us mentally and physically because we could barely sleep. Our bed didn't feel right without her body nestled between us or the cute little noises she makes while she is sleeping.

The only time we would get some sleep is when our striplings pile into our bed. The council wanted to meet us, but they aren't important right now. We will see them when we make sure our mate is alright and healthy.

We were in our office when Lagor walked in with an urgent look. I looked at him in question. His chest rapidly raises up and down as he caught his breath. He finally caught his breath and looked up at us then a smile spread across his face. Which made me shocked because Lagor didn't smile and the only time, he did smile is when Kayla made him.

"My lords the queen has woken!" He gushed with urgency.

I looked at him because I don't think I heard him right. He couldn't have said that our mate has finally woken up. I felt like I was hit with an Aion. Shocked course through my body as I relish in the fact that our mate has woken up.

"Our mate has woken you said," Sagor questioned standing up from his desk.

"Yes, my lord she has" Lagor confirmed

We raced out of the room down to the medical room to see how mate. We stopped at the door to gain our composure so we wouldn't startle her. We pushed open the door to our mate smiling at our striplings who were crowded around her.

We watched as she comforted every one of our striplings with her dazzling smile and soft touches. I couldn't take being away from her anymore. I moved closer to her and grabbed her hand. Her warmth instantly soaked into my skin making the air fill my lungs, I could finally breathe again.

She was like a breath of fresh air that I desperately needed. It felt like I hadn't been breathing since she was taken away from us. I was worried sick about her, and she has finally woken up it felt like I had been cured.

"How are you feeling beloved?" Sagor question holding her hand as well.

"I'm fine no need to worry" She answered smiling like she just wasn't fighting for her life.

"We do need to worry about you. You are our mate; we have to worry about you" I replied finally bringing myself to look at her.

The air left my lungs again. As soon as she gave me my breath back, she takes it away with her beauty. Kayla is the most beautiful woman I have ever met with her captivating smile, her beautiful skin, and her overall presence. I'm so grateful that I can call her mine and be her mate. The Goddess Sasa must really love us to give us a kind, caring, and beautiful queen.

"I'm really glad to see you guys," she said bringing her hand up to our face, brushing them with her fingers.

She sends tingles throughout my body causing me to shudder. She has never touched us with such care and love. Her touch makes my hearts race with love. I could feel my love for her grow, and it scared me. I never know how to deal with my emotions but for her, I'm willing to show her and our striplings how much I care for them.

"We are really glad to see you too," Sagor said sitting in the chair beside her bed.

"We were worried so much because it took you a long time to wake up after your procedure," I said sitting down as well.

I held her hand a little tighter making sure I didn't hurt her. I was afraid that if I let go she would disappear again. I'm never letting her get too far away from me again I couldn't lose her a second time.

"I'm fine it just takes longer for humans to heal compared to big handsome indestructible aliens" she teased with a smirk.

"Hmm, so we are handsome mate?" I teased her smirking at her comment.

"Pssh! No, I didn't say that." She denied hiding her face in the pillow.

"Sagor did our queen just call us handsome?" I question raising an eyebrow

"She just called us handsome. Why are you denying it mate? Are you ashamed of your two handsome mates?" Sagor teased, turning her head back towards us.

"Shut up! Leave me alone if I said I didn't then I didn't," she said glaring at us.

Her little glare was so cute and how she pouted her lips made me want to kiss her plump lips. She took her hands out of ours and folded her arms pushing up her chest. I stared at her chest until my parents walked in snapping me out.
