Seeing our mate stick up for herself made me want to take her to our room and have our way with her. She didn't back down from Jiare as most people did but now we learned what he and Zatara have been hiding. I can't say I am surprised that they are mates because both of them are conniving. I didn't do anything about Jiare because I knew that he wouldn't do anything, and he was a coward.

It made me upset that he said my mate should have died and for that, I was going to kill him along with his mate. Since he want to disrespect Kayla because of Zatara, but our queen stopped us from doing just that. I badly wanted to crush his skull between my hands but didn't want to upset Kayla.

After everything she said, he still didn't believe that his precious mate would betray anyone to be queen. Everyone knew that Zatara was no good and they just tolerated her because her fathers were part of the council. To be honest, if it weren't for her father's being in the council, I probably would have killed her.

I'm against hurting women but she doesn't count. She is a nuisance and as Kayla says a whore. She didn't get the right to be put on the honorable pedestal that we put women on. She isn't anything but a speck of dirt that needs to be trampled on for all of her crimes.

"We need to discuss the execution," I said getting tired of waiting.

I wanted to kill them so I can get back to my life with my striplings and Kayla. The quicker I can kill them the happier I would be. The threat to Kayla's safety would be eliminated then I could breathe.

"We all agree with you executing them," Kora the eldest elder said.

"We still have to give them a public trial to expose their misdeeds. But we fully agree with their execution. They tried to kill our queen and that is unforgivable," Houra said.

"Besides, she has helped Zyka a lot for the little time she has been here," Kora said smiling at Kayla

There was a series of nods going around the table and of course, there was an objection from Jiare but who gives a fuck about him. He could die as well for all I care.

"I don't agree!" He yelled from where the guards were holding him.

"Jiare, I could care less about what you think" I deadpan giving him a bored look.

"I'm still a member of the council!" He announced.

"Jiare it's best for you to be quiet because of the way I'm feeling I want to kill you too. You could die beside your so-called mate. You already disrespected our mate, your queen putting you on thin ice so whatever you say next determines your fate," Fagra growled giving him the deadliest look he could.

A scared look flashed across his face before he settled down in the guard's hold. I smirked at how quickly he grew quiet. Fagra rarely threatens anyone and when he did, well, just say that person wished they would have shut the fuck up.

"Since you don't believe us. At the trial, you can ask her what she really thought. My mom always said a dead man confesses his sins before he leaves," Kayla said shrugging and flashing him a smile.

"The trial will start tomorrow, and I will give you time to ask her your questions," I declared.

I took Kayla's hand and left out of the door not sparing them another glance. I wanted to have my way with our queen, but it was short-lived because of our striplings. They came barreling down the hallway into our mate's arms before we could make it to our room.

Who knew having kids would block all of your mating time with your mate. It didn't help that she sent is still strong and it's begging for me to take her. I contacted Goru to see if he could find out why her scent suddenly grew stronger, but he had yet to get back to us.

We took the striplings outside to the garden to have lunch. Kayla always likes to eat here so we decided she needed some fresh air from recovering from her injuries. I stare at her playing with our striplings and singing some human song. I still can't believe that we found our mate. It still feels like I'm dreaming and if I am, I don't ever want to wake up.

I thank the Goddess every day for gifting us a mate like Kayla. I wouldn't want anyone else to be our mate except her. I'm grateful that she chose to be with us even if she hasn't outright said it. I could tell from her slip-ups and the way she act that she isn't going to leave us. I mean who would start taking care of children that you plan to leave.

Even if she wanted to leave she couldn't because she doesn't even know how to get home. What would she say when she suddenly pops up after being away from Earth for as long as she has. I know she misses her mother because every time she mentions her she gets this sad look that makes my heart ache.

Fagra and I were looking into a way to help her contact her mother without getting their government's attention. They still don't know about different life outside of theirs so it's kind of hard to find a way to contact her.

Not wanting to think of anything but my family. I turned my attention to my family and started playing with them. We played until the kids got tired, so we gave them a bath, fed and put them to sleep. Obviously, our mate was tired as well because as soon as she took her bath she fell asleep on our bed wrapped in a towel.
