His Past

Jungwon followed Sunoo's steps, who walked in a hurry to the second floor on the building where the childrens rooms were.

"Sunoo" Jungwon's eyes rested on sunoo. Sunoo stopped and turned around over to Jungwon's worried face and tightened his lips.

"I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me. If I rest a little, I am sure I will feel better" Sunoo weakly lifted his lips, giving a small smile to Jungwon.

Sunoo opened his room door and took a step inside, Jungwon was about to follow him inside but Sunoo stopped him in his place,blocking the entrance.

"I would rather be alone," he started to say. Jungwon stared at him and crossed his arms together.

"It's also my room, you know" Jungwon's sharp gaze loomed over Sunoo for a few moments causing Sunoo to scowl at him.

As the seconds passed by Sunoo saw that Jungwon didn't give up and still stood waiting to enter the room.

With no other choice Sunoo let out a sigh and moved out of the way letting Jungwon in.

Jungwon looked around the room and noticed that the place was messy. A few toys were scattered on the floor, the bed sheets were rumpled and untidy.

The windows were covered with curtains, blocking the sun, making the room look dark.

Jungwon found it weird since he remembered when he left early in the morning to meet his friends, their room was still tidy and clean.

He and Sunoo usually leave together to meet their friends but today was different. Sunoo didn't come with him, instead lingering in the room seemingly still not fully awake ,he told him that he will join them later.

He didn't know what happened after he left the room but still he knew that something was odd with Sunoo.

Sunoo sat in the room corner, put his teddy bear on his messy bed and hugged his knees.

"I will clean the mess in a minute, okay ?'' he mumbled to Jungwon.

Jungwon slowly approached and sat next to him.

He remembered when he first came to the orphanage, after he introduced himself he asked for everyone's age, he knew the moment he heard it that he needed to help them escape from here.

Even knowing what the answer would be he still wanted to ask him.

"Remind me how old you are that you are leaving our room this messy?" Jungwon chuckled while Sunoo bit his lips.

"Next week I will be ten" Sunoo said in a small voice. Jungwon tightened his lips and his eyes turned frosty but he still smiled over to Sunoo, not wanting him to know what he felt when he heard his answer, the age he thought he was...

"Wow, then I'm supposed to be nine" Jungwon talked to himself more than to Sunoo.

They need to get out of here.

Jungwon noticed that the man in the white suit added new pills to their routine.

"Hey, I know I am the older one between us, but adults can also get sick sometimes" Sunoo started talking and got Jungwon snapped out of his thoughts.

He looked over to Sunoo and noticed that he was staring at him intensely, his teeth's were peeking slightly from his mouth.

"So adults can also act weirdly than usual?" Jungwon looked questionably at him. Sunoo shook his head, messing his black shiny hair in the process, he tightened his lips and slowly got up.

Jungwon also got up, he tried to understand what happened to his friend.

He had a hunch of what was happening to him, but he wasn't one hundred percent sure and he also hoped that he was mistaken.
