The dream was repeated again. Sunghoon was standing in the middle of a corridor with old walls and paint peeling off of them. A faded yellow color covered the area and the lights flickered repeatedly. Sunghoon started running along the corridor even though he knew there was no exit where he was. The place looked the same with every turn Sunghoon took. He was desperate to find something differned, but it was always the same. The corridor looked the same in any way Sunghoon turned and the doors that stood along were closed until he saw one door was opened. It was the only door in every dream that was opened. Sunghoon breathed heavily while he stood in front of the slightly open door and proceeded with slow steps. When he entered the room, he saw the bathtub resting in the middle as always with the peeling walls, but this time he noticed something different that was in the room. A transparent window appeared in front of him and hope ignited in his chest. This was the first time he saw something different in this weird dream and maybe, this time, he will escape from here by breaking the glass while passing through it. He didn't think twice and ran quickly towards the window and slammed his body hard a few times, but nothing happened. He frowned and punched the window glass and still nothing.
"Damn it!" He shouted desperately and put his head against the glass. When Sunghoon looked up, he opened his eyes and gasped. Through the window, he noticed his two friends, Jay and Jake. They stood in the middle of a room with red lights and just stared at each other. Sunghoon did not know why, but he started to call them, even though he knew it was a dream.
"Jay" Sunghoon cried out and pounded wildly in the window. After a few desperate knocks, Jay remains motionless in his place. Sunghoon shifted his frightened gaze towards Jake, who saw that he, too, could not hear his screams. He slowly moved away from the wall and as much as he was distracted, he forgot about the bathtub that was resting in the middle of the room and stumbled into it. He screamed in panic and distorted his face from the pain. Sunghoon found himself lying inside the bathtub while he struggled for a few seconds to get up and tried again to call his friends or find something to break the windwo. When he stood again in the room, he looked over the door he came from, but the door wasn't there anymore. Sunghoon's heart beat fast and sweat gushed down his forehead. What happened to the door all of the sudden? It was the first time the dream was different. No, not a dream,
A NIGHTMARE!
"I need to wake up," Sunghoon said with a dry mouth. Why was he dreaming of it? Was there a meaning behind those dreams? Sunghoon went again to the window and when he wanted to try to shout over to his friends, they were not there. He swallowed hard and covered his mouth with his hands, trying not to vomit. What is happening? Why did he not wake up already? Sunghoon usually wakes up after he walks into this room, but now he didn't. Suddenly, he heard drops. He lowered his hands as he slowly turned towards the sounds, noticed the letters that began to appear on the wall and froze in place.
'Fate' was written in a bright red color and Sunghoon had bad feeling that it was written in blood. Before he could react to what he just saw, he felt his body burning and when he raised his hand to wipe away the sweat, a loud scream came out of
his mouth. His hand was on fire!
"Sunghoon!" A terrified voice echoed in his head and he felt his body shake from side to side tightly. He opened his eyes and got up in a fright from his bed, panting heavily.
"Fate," he whispered while Jay's worried face looked at him. He was upright in his bed, covered in cold sweat throughout his body.
"Fate?" Jay asked as Jake turned on the light in their room and they both looked at him with concern. Sunghoon coughed and swallowed hard. He probably will not be sleeping soon after this nightmare.
