The bell for the end of the class day came and Sunoo didn't wait another moment to quickly leave the classroom. He managed to finish the day successfully except that he sometimes jumped from the ringing that grates in his sensitive ears or felt shivers throw his body as he heard the pencils rubbing against the papers as the teens wrote feverishly during class. Jungwon prepared him early this morning for what awaited him after he had fully completed the transformation.
"It won't be easy from now on" Sunoo remembered what Jungwon had told him when they were on their way to see their friends.
They skipped breakfast, because they didn't need to eat and they also needed time to think of a good excuse for their friends, why they didn't show up. After all, Sunoo was not feeling well for a few days, and Jungwon told him what happened to Heeseung in the cafeteria that evening, therefore, they had to coordinate the story.
"Hm?" Sunoo answered distractedly while Heeseung looked distant as he walked with them in the empty hallways. Heeseung didn't seem to hear what Jungwon said, because he focused his attention on the few teens who would pass us.
"It won't be easy for you, Sunoo," Jungwon repeated, biting his lower lip.
What do you mean?" Sunoo was interested. Jungwon stopped as were his two friends. Heeseung was still in shock when Jungwon took them to a quieter corner.
"Your senses are much sharper than they were before," Jungwon whispered. He didn't want to take the risk that someone might hear them. Sunoo nodded in understanding.
"Yeah, I didn't wake up early just because I wanted to. I heard the noises of whispering between the rooms were unbearable or the footsteps of the workers passing through the area once an hour" Sunoo also spoke quietly and a yawn came out of his mouth.
"I figured it was because of that. As soon as you put the pillow on your ears, I knew your senses had already sharpened. It happens after drinking the blood, because you've completed the change, all your senses increase at once" Jungwon spoke quickly and he listened attentively.
Heeseung tightened his lips and still seemed distant. Sunoo couldn't think clearly about what had happened the day before, when Jungwon suddenly teleported both of them from their room towards the middle of the forest, at night.
He remembered that he was so shocked that Jungwon just tightened his lip and looked at him in understanding. He tried to suppress the rest of the memory that crept in slowly, the moment he completed the transformation as he was drinking blood...
He shook this moment from his head and continued to recall his conversation with Jungwon. He had to know how to deal with the situation he was in.
"If you feel overwhelmed" Jungwon's voice continued to echo in Sunoo's head ""That all the sounds or smells are mixing up for you, stay away. get out of the classroom, say that you don't feel well and just stay back" Sunoo stared at his friend for a few moments.
He still couldn't get used to the new look of his friends and himself, but he had no choice. He had to get used to it quickly otherwise people may notice that something is wrong with him and he was not interested in unnecessary attention. Besides, he had Jungwon and that calmed him a little bit.
"Ok. So how can I control it?" Sunoo swallowed. He was stressed about what he was going to deal with, he did not want to lose control of himself. Jungwon patted his friend on the shoulder and smiled.
"Don't worry, I will teach you. I don't want to push too much information in one day. I know the situation itself is overwhelming. Later, I promise you will be able to control it, but you have to understand that the beginning won't be easy for you at all, it will be difficult" Jungwon explained as Sunoo tightened his lips and nodded.
