Disturbing Thoughts

As soon as Heeseung felt the sharp pain in his gums, he didn't think twice and stormed out of the classroom. It was still hard for him to absorb all the things that Jungwon and Sunoo told him yesterday after the incident in the cafeteria. Heeseung ran towards the bathroom and locked himself in one of the cubicles. Jungwon told him that as soon as he felt pain in his gums, he had to hide. He gasped weakly even though he knew the place was empty.

"Heeseung" he remembered the conversation he had yesterday with his two friends. It was already late at night when Heeseung was in their room. When Heeseung wanted to turn the lights on, Jungwon immediately stopped him and told him that the nurses will notice and they can't let them know what is happening. After that, Jungwon revealed his sharp fangs to him and all Heeseung could do was stare in fear at his friend. He looked towards Sunoo, who also cringed in fear in his place.

"Jungwon, I don't think is exactly the first thing you need to show, '' Sunoo murmured and stood next to Heeseung. Heeseung automatically looked towards Sunoo's teeth, whose fangs seemed to be longer as well. Sunoo directly covered his mouth with his hand while Jungwon crossed his hands.

"It's better to tear off the band-aid all at once so it's less painful," Jungwon said. Sunoo missed his face and lowered his hand from his mouth. He looked towards the frightened Heeseung.

"Heeseung" he began to say and reached his hand out to him. Heeseung at first hesitated but eventually he took his hand. Sunoo led him to the lower bed and they sat down together. Heeseung had to sit more bent because it turns out he was tall.

"Wow you're really tall" Sunoo grinned and looked at Heeseung's face.

"You're also really handsome" Sunoo continued to say and Heeseung felt he was blushing. Jungwon cleared his throat. Sunoo smiled shyly at him.

"You're handsome too,Jungwon," he began to say. Jungwon rolled his eyes. Sunoo cleared his throat and went back to looking at the frightened Heeseung.

"Anyway, I know that you are frightened and confused. I also discovered it all the hard way," Sunoo began to say.

"I don't think there's an easy way to find out such a thing" Jungwon replied sadly and sat down next to them. Heeseung tightened his lips and swallowed his saliva. He didn't know what the hell he was supposed to do.

"It's madness," Heeseung murmured. Sunoo nodded in understanding and continued his words.

"Remember that day I got up from breakfast?" Sunoo asked. Heeseung nodded affirmatively.

"That day I tried to tell myself that I wasn't feeling well, but I quickly began to realize that something was wrong with me. Every bite I took from the food had no taste, even to the sweets one! Then I started to feel weirder so I preferred to just get up and go." Sunoo's voice shook a little.

"When Jungwon accompanied me, he did not tell me anything until I had the incident in the showers room" Sunoo looked towards Jungwon, who pressed his lips. Sunoo took a deep breath and continued to tell.

"I walked towards the showers room thinking maybe I just needed to freshen up and that way I would feel better but I was wrong. I kept feeling weirder and weirder until I saw my reflection in one of the mirrors and-" Sunoo pointed to his boyish face.

"I saw it in the mirror! Not myself but who you see now. I was sure I might be hallucinating or getting a fever." Sunoo opened his eyes in horror and he swallowed hard. Heeseung understood very well what Sunoo felt.

"I freaked out but I was lucky that Jungwon came to my help. I didn't recognize him at first because you know-" Sunoo gestured with his hand towards the façade of Jungwon.
