After the Fight

Willows Pov

" Willow, honey, come on out for breakfast. " I hear Effie say. " I don't want to" I say. Effie comes in and sees the mess I'm in.

" Willow, What's wrong?" She asked. " nothing" I mumble. " Willow I know  it's not nothing, What's wrong?" She insisted. " Me and Tyler got into a fight last night. " I say a tear is slipping down my cheek.

" look sweety it's all going to be OK. You're a fighter, remember. " she said. " I guess " I said. " know come on " Effie said.

I get up, brush my hair and brush away the tears. Then I go outside for breakfast. The only chair available is the one next to Tyler.

I sit down and look at him. He has his head down,as if I wasn't even there. I grab a plate and serve myself. An orange, toast, a little strawberry yogurt, and water.

Effie tries to make conversation by saying ," good heavens that they fixed the train , now we're back on track " but everyone is quiet . I look at Tyler again, he's still looking down and eating. " hey " I try to talk to him. He won't look up or even respond.

I can't do this. I know we had a fight yesterday and he's mad at me, but he won't even look at me. I have to get out of here before I do something stupid, like cry.

" I'm going to eat this in my room. " I say picking up my plate. " but-" Haymitch tries to say something, but Effie stopped him. He looked at her and Effie nods her head over at Tyler.
Haymitch finally gets it, and nods . " You go on now, darling " Effie said. " Thank you. " I say and leave to my  room. Just as I turned to open the door to my room, I catch a glimpse of Tyler looking towards me.

I sit on my desk and eat in silence. A tear slipping down my cheek. An Avox comes in and takes my dishes. After she leaves I get up and change my clothes.

I pick a yellow dress with a simple belt in the middle. Then I put on my boots. Then I sit in bed, for a while before Effie comes in and says, " Willow are you ok? " " yea, I'm just going to stay here all day,or forever depends. "

" Now Willow,you cant stay in here forever ,you have to come out of your room. Dont let that fight ruin your life. Everyone makes mistakes. "

" Thanks Effie" I say smiling. " Now will you come outside?" She asked. " ok " I say. I grab my notebook and go the back of the train where I sit down and sketch .
