Theres nothing we can do to make sure they're safe. For all I know they're they're...dead.
"All tributes report to the training center, all tributes report to the training center for the training speech"
I heard the announcer say. " come on lets go " I say grabbing Willows hand. "See you later " she said. " Remember what I told you guys " Haymitch said. " we'll watch the tapes once we get back." I told him.
Me and Willow close the penthouse door behind us. Then we go to the glass elevator. The white button lights up green when I press it.
When we get to the training center, we were the last ones there. Everyone looked at us. One tribute in particular, gives Willow a death stare.
I grab her hand, and walk her in the opposite direction from him and sit down. "Welcome tributes So Ill get started by saying, Hello my name Atna. I'll be the one giving the speech this year. "
Then she went on with the same speech as last year. I couldn't bring myself to listen. All I could focus on right now was that guy staring down Willow.
Like whats his problem. Willow hasn't even noticed, she lays her head quietly on my shoulder until the speech is over.
" Remember tributes no fighting .plenty of time for that in the Arena.Thank you, Tributes for your Time" Atna said. Then everyone got up and started to leave.
Then that tribute from District 2 that was staring at Willow( which i recalled is named Josh Hunter)said, " Well,Girl of Ashes aren't you going to light up in flames or something. "
" Just keep walking " I tell her. " Oh, Just accept it she doesn't love you. She's just a lying little Mutt. She's faking it just like her mom. " Josh said through gritted teeth.
That's when Willow drew the line she turned around and yelled back," I do too love him! I'm not faking it either! And I'm most certainly am not a mutt. If treating People like trash is what it's like where you live,
Then let me pop that little bubble you have in your head, because it's the only thing in your head obviously, and tell you that that's the reason you don't know anything about love. Heck you don't know the first thing about it."
She turns around and walks away. Josh leaves and I go with Willow. It's going to be a long Week. When we get home. We each take a shower in our rooms, change and come out to watch the tapes of some games.
