*the next day*
It is 2am and Alex, Emma, Carley, Michael, Holly, Rachel and I are still awake at my house packing our things. It is basically all done but there is still a few things we need to do. I called the people to hire a truck to take our furniture to Melbourne yesterday and they will be here at 10am. Carley, Emma and I have been drinking a cup of coffee every hour for the last 4 hours to keep us energised. It is working. "Emma, Carley and Alex did use want to crash here for a few hours until the truck comes to take the furniture?" I ask them just before yawning. "Yeah I'll put an alarm on for 9." Emma said. We all nodded then got blankets from a box and set out beds on the lounge room floor while the kids slept in their beds.

*riiinnnnngggggg* I guess that's Emma's alarm. Time to get up. I wander into the kitchen and put the kettle on which I am leaving out with 3 other mugs so I can take in the car. While I'm waiting for it to boil I walk slowly up the stairs as I'm not properly awake yet and go into Rachel's room first. "Rachy we're leaving today you have to get up now." I say as I lean over her cot and pull her blanket off of her shoulders. "Okay mummy." She says before sitting up and putting her arms out signalling for me to get her out of the cot. I do then wander over to Hollys room. "Holls we are leaving soon so you gotta get up." I say pulling her blanket off of her. She groans as I walk over to Michaels bedroom. "Mike cmon we're leaving soon so so have to wake up." I say. He sits up slowly then stretches while nodding his head so I smile at him then walk back downstairs to make my coffee. I approached Emma in the kitchen already making our coffees. "Thank you." I say as she hands a mug to me.

"Hi we're here to transport your furniture from here to Melbourne?" A guy in a worker uniform says as he reads off of his clipboard. "Yes let's get started." I say. He nods then wanders over to the truck and reverses it into my driveway so it's easier to take over the furniture.
The worker guys come inside to get the furniture while Emma and I help. Carley is staying inside with the kids to help them pack the little things like blankets away into boxes.
"Okay 1,2,3 heave!" One of the guys shout as we lift Hollys draws. We all lift and carry it steadily over to the truck. Rachel then walks out with a small box with some of her toys in it. "That one can go in the car honey." I say refusing to take the box. She nods then puts it on the ground next to the car then runs back inside.

After telling the worker guys the address they were taking our furniture to we wave them goodbye as the drive up the road. I then walk into the house and it is completely bare. The boxes I'm taking in the car have already been packed away and there's nothing in the house. "Thank you so much for your help girls!" I say getting them into a group hug. I honestly wouldn't have done this without them.
"We're gonna miss you Carol!" The girls shout in unison as Michael, Holly, Rachel and I set off down the road. We are heading to Melbourne.
