"Are you here for Rachel May?" A doctor asks as he approaches me pacing back and fourth in the hallway as I've been doing for the past 3 hours. I haven't heard any feedback about Rachel or if she's okay so I'm really worried. "Yeah is she okay?" I ask stopping infront of the man and biting my lip with nervousness.
"Rachel is fine. She will just have a very sore leg for a few weeks and she will need crutches to keep her weight off of it. Is a parent or guardian here for her?" The doctor explained. I hadn't even thought about telling anyone.. "Ah no ill call her mum. Can I see her?" I ask. "Of course, right this way." He says leading me up the hall.
"Rach! Are you okay?" I almost shout as I walk into her ward. "Yeah Luke I'm fine." She says wincing in pain as she attempts to sit up in the hospital bed. I then walk over to her and embrace her in a tight hug. I then search for her legs and lift her off of the bed so she is in my arms. "Luke, what're you doing?" Rachel asks giggling. I then placed her legs around my waist then sat myself on the hospital bed so she was upright on my lap. I had both of my arms around her sides supporting her to sit upright while I gave her a quick kiss on the lips, signalling for the doctor to get out.
Once I place her back on the bed I take my phone out of my back pocket and explain to her that I need to call her mum.
"Hello?"
"Hi Carol, It's Luke, I have something I need to tell you.. Are you sober?"
"Hi Luke yes I am what's up?"
"Uh well Rachel and I were swimming at the beach and she got bitten by a shark.. On her leg and we are in hospital at the moment."
"Oh my god! Is she okay?"
"Yes she's fine are you able to come in?"
"Of course I'll be there soon."
"Your mum will be here soon." I explain to Rachel as she stares blankly into space. "Rachel?" I raise my voice trying to get her attention. "I'm going to be in deep shit Luke.."
"Why?" I question. "That wasn't our shack.." She says looking out the window.

"What were you both doing when this happened?" Carol asks whilst folding her arms. "Rachel took me to your shack on the private beach in Melbourne Central." I explain. "Ours isn't in Melbourne Central.. It's just out of it." Carol says blankly. "Mum it wasn't our shack but they left their keys where we leave ours!" Rachel explains. Carol then death glares Rachel before storming out. "You're nothing but a stupid little whore!" She screams from down the hallway.
"I'll call mum and you can stay with us Rach." I whisper to her while she sobs into my shoulder. "Thanks Luke." She whispers back between cries.

"Welcome home sweetie." Guns says as we enter the Brooks' household. "Thanks Gina. Luke can you carry me upstairs?" I say with a cheeky smile. "Jump on." Luke says turning his back to me. "I'll take her crutches!" Jai shouts picking up my crutches off of the floor while I sit up on Luke's back as he carries me upstairs.

"I have a surprise for.. Us tomorrow." Luke whispers as we lay in each other's arms in Luke's bed. "What do you mean 'us'?" I ask with a smirk. "You'll see."
