"Rachel? It's Holly and Michael, open up." I heard from the front door. I rushed out of bed not remembering I'm supposed to be using my crutches and let them in. "We're so happy for you, little sis." They say in unison while attacking me with hugs. "Aw thanks guys." I say as I feel my cheeks turning red. "Cmon get Luke up we're helping you get your stuff from home." Holly explains. I nod then run back to our bedroom and get Luke up.

"Wow, this place is now complete! I can't believe you all knew about this before I did!" I almost shout to Holly, Jai, Michael, Luke and Beau who are stood in the middle of the lounge room laughing at me. "Well, we should go. We'll be back tomorrow though." Holly says as she signals for Michael to follow her out the door. Michael gives me a quick hug before leaving the house.
"Oi Jai come with me to the DIY store to get some paint." Beau states as he walks out the front door followed by Jai.
Luke and I watched them leave through the window and once they were completely gone I pounced onto Luke and he lifted me up and spun me around. "I can't believe you did this for us! I love you!" I shouted before I was cut off by Lukes soft lips against mine. He then carried me over to the kitchen and placed me gently on the bench while he stood between my legs. I cupped his adorable face in my hands and just gazed into his stunning eyes. "I love you Luke." I whispered, holding back happy tears. "I love you more, my princess." He whispered back before planting a kiss on my forehead.*knock knock* "I'll get it." Luke insisted.
-Lukes POV-
I opened the door and there was a by the looks of him, a fully grown man stood right at the door. "Umm.. Can I help you sir?" I asked taking in the sight of this guy. He had scruffy old jeans with stains on and a leather jacket which had rips in it. "I'm here to see my daughter. And you are?" He stated firmly. "I'm her boyfriend. Come on in.. What's your name, sorry?" I said apologetically. "Hamish, thanks." He responded walking through the front door. "Rach your dad's here." I called to her from the front door. "Can you grab my crutches Luke?" She called back. I then picked her crutches up from off of the floor and took them to her in the kitchen. Hamish just stood in the middle of the lounge room taking in all the details of our home. "Hi dad?" Rachel greeted him questioningly. "Hi Rach. I-I need to tell you something." He said as it sounded like he was holding back tears. "What is it?" She asked him worriedly as I snaked my arm around her waist. "I w-won't be around for much longer." He stated as a single tear rolled down his cheek. "What d-do you mean?" Rach stuttered. She had a shocked and worried look on her face and tears were welling up in her eyes. "I'm leaving tomorrow and I don't think I'll ever be able to come back." She stated while stepping back towards the front door. "What? Where are you going? Why?" Rachel questioned while moving towards him. "Well, my new partner murdered someone in the San Remo factory and she was sentenced to jail and now the people from there want me.. Dead." Hamish muttered stepping more towards the front door. "I'm sorry Rach." He said before running off down the road. "Dad!" Rachel called out and dropped her crutches before her body dropped to the floor. "Baby it's gonna be okay." I cooed while picking her up off of the floor. She sobbed into my shoulder and I could feel her tears seeping through my shirt and the dampness on my skin. I held her around her waist and supported her as we walked up the stairs. When we got to our bedroom she gasped at the sight of our bedroom. It was all set out amazingly as if it were just a dream. "Wake up." Rachel muttered under her breath. "Baby it's not a dream." I chuckled.
