Chapter 18- family day

RUEL POV: this morning i woke and mateo wasn't crying although it was early so I thought he was still sleep so I go up to check on him and he was standing up holding the bars of the crib and bobbing up and down making baby noises and I just stood there smiling " what do you think your doing cutie" I said going to pick him up and change his nappy which wasn't that hard to do I think walked down with him and I just had some fruit and cut it up and ate it with mateo and then got a call from oakley.

RUEL:" goodmorning mumma"I said putting in on speaker

OAKLEY: "hey what are you doing?"

RUEL:" Im giving mateo fruit why"

OAKLEY:" so do you have anything planed today?"

RUEL:" um no not really why"

OAKLEY:" ok good cause I'm coming over today with all mystuff holly is bringing me over with all my stuff ok"

RUEL:' ok cool yea no that's ok are you sure you don't want me to go get you or anything"

OAKLEY:" no no its ok ill be there soon ok "

RUEL:" ok i love you bye"

OAKLEY:" bye ruel"

i knew she wasn't ready to say it yet but i was ok with that as long as i had her with me i was happy , we had finished breakfast and it was starting to be come noon so i thought what if i took mateo into the pool that would be fun as it was a nice and warm day for being winter so .

i took himback up stairs and put a swinging diper on him then his little swimmers and sunscreen protecting him as well as putting on one of my bucket hats on his little head kinda rolling it up a little and then i got myself ready and took him down stairs and slowly in the pool and just held matep up so he was only half way in the pool and his reaction to it was so cute and funny he started to kick around so i putt I him in a little bit more so his arms could move around in the water as well and i was just walking around the pool slowly with him just enjoying my time with him he lookedlik he was having fun slashing in the water getting me with it and trying to eat the clorine water which I stoped him from doing because I didn't want him to get sick as he was only small so yea but had sat him up on the edge of the pool and just held him there and played with his tiny hands when oakley came running out and jumping into the pool and getting us wet and making mateo cry " awwwww I'm sorry baby mummy didn't mean to scar you" she said coming over and grbing him holding in the water how I did and just stood there with him until he stoped which wasnt long till he was trying to swim again and I just came around oakley and sid hugged her as she was hold mateo and just kissed her wet hair she just looked up and smiled looking like she was asking for a real kiss which I gave and then she started to run with him in the water and he was just gigling with her and she started to spin with him in the air and in the water and I was just leaning on the edge laughing and smiling at the both and then hoping in to the spar that was connected to the pool and sat down still keeping an eye on them both when oakley started to walk and I could hear her speaking to mateo " lets go over to daddy yea lets go sit with dad " she said and standing in the hot tub " I don't know if he will like this so I might not stay in here for long ok" she said starting to sit down with him and as she expected he started to cry and winge so she got up and took him but spoke before leaving"ill be back ok " was what she said to me and I just nodded as she walked away soon returning.

" wheres mateo" I asked as she got in next to me " he was tired to I gave him worm bottle and put him to bed he's been really busy enjoying him self with you " she said looking at me " that's good to know that I'm ding something right I guess" I said looking back at her " rule your a great dad ok even holly yesterday said that you were the best dad figure she has seen so that must be saying something" she said looking at me " oh so you and holly both find me as a hot father figure that's good you have comption then you can step up your game" I said and smirked teasing her and she just came closer sitting on my lap straddling me facing me with my hands naturally resting on her hips and waist " no one has commotion against me sir" she said with a tone of ( no one is taking my man) and I just laughed " so I'm yours and yours only" I asked seeing what she would say " well I mean technically your not mine but you are because of mateo and then whatever we work out" she said putting her hands around my neck and playing with the back of head ( hair ) " about that have you been thinking about getting back together or us both co-parenting and moving on" I asked really hoping he would chose me over another man but she just stayed quiet for a bit and just looked at me up and down just admiring my feature while she was thinking kinda making me nervous " I want whats best for mateo ruel " was all that she said and stayed quiet for a bit before speaking again " and right now I definitely don't want to find another man and confuse mateo and i haven't met anyoneelse fro the past how ever long its been cause i still loved you" she said making me smile but then frowned when she said loved " what about now oakley" i said really wanting her but wanted her to be happy " i still love you ruel " she said and i didn't even think i just smashed my lips into her and we made out for awhile as the sun was starting to set and get cold as we had spent all day in the pool.

" so dinner what are we making?" she asked " on no your not making it i am you go check on mateo I'm hoping in the shower " i said as we walked in with towels i gave her mine as she didn't have one and we both walked up stairs and she went one direction and i went the other turning on the taps and hoping soon after and enjoying my time in the fresh hot shower water when soon i heard the door being opened and oakley coming in with mateo " mind if we join" she said dropping her towel and hoping in " no not at " i said smirking at her and looking her up and down and taking in the breath taking view i had displayed in front of me " stop it " was all she said as i moved out of the way for her to get under the water as well " stop what " i said coming behind her and hugging her wet body and kissing her shoulders " do you want me to turn the water down for him" i asked moving in front of her " no no its perfect temperature " she said and the i took him from her and just held him " wash your hair I've got him " i said moving him out of the way with me " ok " i just paid attention to mateo as she washed her hair and body " here come here " she said an walked closer to her with mateo " here hold him like new born " she said and i did " dont put him under the water yet ok " she said and started to wash his little body and his hair which was growing quick like mine did i just took in his features and he looked so much like me it was kinda scary not going to lie she soon stoped lightly detected my close to the shower and just letting the edge of where the water was falling hit the top of mateos head washing out the shampoo and stuff then actually putting him actually underthe water getting the rest of the soap off him and then leaving the shower with mateo and getting him dressed and letting oakley shower by herself.

i was putting mateo down after dressing him in his room with the towel around my wait when i felt arms come around my from behind and i felt her kisses on my back so i spun around and pushed her up against the wall in mateo's room and just stared at her until she spoke " can we um maybe go to our and-" i cut her off as she placed her hands on my chest and just moving around " your cute when your horny you know" i said and kissed her neck and picking her up and taking her to our room and laying her on the bed hovering over her and she we to kiss me but i got up and went to the closet just to tease her and got changed then walked past her in the bed room where she was still and winked at her then grabbed mateo and took him downstairs and closed all the doors and putt him down starting to make dinner which was chicken alfreado.

i was staring to dish up dinner when oakley came in looking kinda pissed from what i did to her " come on baby I'm sorry it was just a little tease i said walking over to her and wrapping my arms around waist looking at her " i said i was sorry" i said sounding like a child and she just looked at me unfased and grabbed a bowl and mateo and going into the living room and I'm going to be in trouble , i came in to the living room and saw oakley sitting the with her legs crosed and giving a little bit of the food to mateo " do you like daddys food huh " she said and i smiled and walked back to the kitchen and got him of of his bowls and walked back in and bumbed into oakley " here you go" i said giving it to her and kissing her head then going to sit on the couch and watching oakley put some of her food in his little bowl and fed it to him once he had his bowl she put on the living room floor and got up to close the living room door for him and thensitting back down eating her now cold food " oakley do you want me to get you a new bowl or heat it up so its not cold " i said just watching her every move " no its ok thank you though and thank you for dinner you skills as a chef have improved " she said making me smile " well i have been very bored alone here so you kinda insprierd me to do cooking so thank you" i said and she gained a slight smile on her face " hey there's that smile ive been waiting to see " i said smiling and she just smiled back showing her white teeth then going to eat more of her food i did the same until i felt a tug on my leg and it was mateo holding my leg using it to stableise him as he stood up by himself just looking at me smiling " well hello there handsome man " i said picking him up and putting my bowl down on the living room table then sitting back down to tickle him "i love you ruel" oakley said out of no where making me look straight at her as she got up and grabbed my empty bowl walking into the kitchen and washing the dishes as i stayed and continued tickling mateo and blowing raspberries on his stomach making him cackle but oakley never came back in so i got up and brought mateo with me and walked up stairs.

And there she was sleeping in our bed so i stayed up a little longer feeding mateo a bottle and then taking him to bed and soon getting into bed with oakley and just pulling her in close to me and whispered into her neck not knowing if she could here me " I'm sorry baby ok i didn't think i would hurt you in the process i was just i dont know I'm not going to make any excuses but know that I'm sorry ok" and she rolled over and hugged me and we both fell asleep.
