"If I could have everyone's attention, please," Clark says. Everyone quiets down, as we look up at him. "Um, I'd like to make a little announcement. Um.. Our family has a tradition. That goes way back before I was even born. Where everyone takes a moment to say what they're most thankful for in their lives," He starts, as I look over at Oliver. "I would just like to say that I'm most thankful for my mom and dad and my sister, Callie... whose faith in me taught me to have faith in myself. Thank you." Mom smiles, almost tearing up at him.

Everyone claps for him. "Let's eat," Chloe smiles.

*afterwards*

"Thank you for coming," I say, looking up at Oliver.

"Thank you for inviting me," he smiles. "So where do we go from here?"

"I don't know. I'm just taking it one day at a time. I'll probably be helping Clark with his hunt for the phantoms that escaped," I admit.

"Sounds dangerous."

"It is, but I was sent down here to protect Clark, so that's what I'm gonna do," I sigh.

"As long as you don't die."

"I'll be fine. I can handle myself," I assure him.

"Good," he nods.

Chloe turns around to see Clark and I behind her. "You said it was urgent," Clark points out.

"It is. A Taiwanese cargo ship was found off the coast of Alaska with its entire crew dead of unknown causes. The details are a bit murky but the manifest says its last stop was Bellona Island," she explains.

"Bellona Island? They got hit by a meteor the same day I escaped from the Phantom Zone," Clark says.

"Where's the ship now," I ask.

"It's being towed to Seattle."

"I have to go there," Clark says.

"Clark, these guys aren't just meteor freaks. They're from galaxies far, far away. And more importantly, they can hurt you. You can't go unarmed," Chloe sighs.

"He's not. I'm going, too," I state.

"No, you're not," Clark scoffs.

"Clark, I was sent down here to protect you, and you better believe that's what I'm gonna do," I point out. "Besides, we have the crystal Raya gave us. We can use that against them."

Chloe's phone rings, and she reaches over and answers it. "Hey, Lana... Whoa! Slow down. Are you alright?" She's silent for a moment. "Oh, my God. Yeah, of course." She hangs up.

"What happened," Clark asks.

"Lex just mysteriously disappeared," she admits.

"I have to go to Seattle," Clark sighs.

"Well, Clark, I know that Lex isn't exactly your pick for Man of the Year, but you can't just turn your back on him," Chloe says.

"Chloe, there's innocent people in danger. We'll be back as soon as we can."
