A week has passed and I was already accommodated with how the school worked. I also learned that part of my duty as a nurse was a regular check-up of the school environment, looking for any sudden injury than could happen.

I was just looking into one of the classrooms when I noticed the orange-head boy sitting there.

"Hey, you! How's the hand?" I shouted, waving to get his attention.

He turned to me and gave me two thumbs up, big smile painting his lips.

"I can finally play volleyball again." He said excitedly.

I was a little taken aback by his statement. His sport choice didn't quite match his appearance. But what do I know, I was never good at sports and definitely not volleyball.

"Oh really? Good for you!" I gave him a thumbs-up as well.

"You should come to watch me play, miss. I'm the next little giant!" He stood up with his hands on his hips proudly.

I didn't know what or who was little giant but I nodded.

Later I asked the teachers when the boys' volleyball team was practicing and made my way to the gym hall.

I didn't come at the start of their practice because I still had some paperwork to do but they still seemed practicing when I opened the gym door so I was glad I didn't come late.

I was watching from the door so I wouldn't bring much attention to me and let them practice in peace.

Suddenly before I could react and a ball flew past me, bouncing off the wooden wall.

I stood frozen, my eyes wide as I slowly tried to comprehend what had just happened.

All the eyes turned towards me and that froze me even more.

"Miss! Miss! You came!" Suddenly I recognized a familiar voice and the boy to whom the voice belonged.

"Hi." I waved shyly.

This much attention wasn't something for me. I felt myself getting more red as tomato the longer people stared at me.

The moment I waved to the boy the stares that were previously directed at me were now watching the orange head boy with confusion.

I didn't even notice the steps that were nearing me with an evenly confused person staring at me.

"You?!"

Huh? I know that voice.

"You?" I repeated like a parrot when I turned towards the person.

Ukai was standing in front of me with his usual annoyed aura but this time his apron has changed into a tracksuit.

When I got out of the shock, I gained the confidence to respond to him.

"You shouldn't be the one confused. I'm the school nurse, you already know that." I retorted.

"Miss you know coach Ukai?" The short boy asked.

"Yeah, we've met." I cocked an eyebrow at Ukai.

"Wait what did you say? Coach Ukai?" I spat out as the realization hit me.

I looked at Ukai for confirmation.

"What, got a problem with that?" Another arrogant response from him.

I didn't want to argue with him in front of the students even more so because I knew it would be waste of time.

"No, I don't." I said quietly.

"Miss, will you stay longer. You didn't get to see my spike yet." The familiar boy eagerly asked.

"Yes, I will." I smiled at him.

"Wait how you know Hinata?"

"Yeah, Hinata how do you know such a pretty girl."

"It's his sister obviously, otherwise how would a boy like him know a girl like her."

I was overwhelmed by the sudden ruckus of the students' remarks and rather let them bicker between themselves.

"Hey! Quit talking and get back to practicing!" Ukai suddenly roared. His voice was so strong compared to his quiet low note when he talked to me.

The boys stopped their arguing and went back to their task.

"So you already have favorites at school?" Ukai smirked at me when the students started practicing again.

"Huh? No, he was at my office to get his palm bandaged. That's why I know him. He said I should come watch him and also something about being the next little giant but I don't what that means." I explained.

"Hinata, he's quite something. Even over his stature, he's capable the same as his taller teammates." He talked while still observing the boys. His eyes were darting from one player to another.

There still was a hint of arrogance in his tone, however, it seemed to stem from the confidence in the boy's capabilities.

"I see, so what does little giant mean?" I probed.

He suddenly looked at me confused.

"You really don't know?" He seemed in disbelief.

I shook my head.

"What were you doing, that you don't know." He chuckled.

"I have never been much interested in sports or even good at it. Not everyone can be ace like you coach Ukai." I crossed my arms in front of my chest annoyed.

"True, I'm quite good at volleyball." He said proudly.

"On the other hand, you're smart and I'm not, so I guess everyone has something." He added.

He was right. Everyone has something they're good at and acknowledging your weak points only helps one improve.

"Also you know ace. That's a volleyball term so at least you know something. Do you see that tall boy with a bun. That's not Jesus but our ace and a wing spiker Asahi." He explained while my eyes followed where he was pointing.

As the practice continued, Ukai continued to explain to me the rest of the positions of the boys. I was getting more and more confused as he proceeded with the details of their strengths and weaknesses so I didnn't take much from it.
