My eyes slowly opened, blinded by the sharp rays of sunlight going through the window.

A smile spread across my lips as I seemed to have had a good sleep. However, it quickly faded when I realized that I wasn't laying in my bed and then remembered why.

My gaze warily moved to my right where a faint breath was tickling my neck.

After the initial shock of Ukai being so close to me and having his arms resting on my stomach, I observed him.

I probably wouldn't have this opportunity ever again so I took my chance.

His aura was totally different when he slept. He looked so innocent and soft. The pillow was cutely squishing his cheeks against his partly opened mouth. His hair was messily hanging from the side of his face, making his eye twitch from time to time as it irritated him.

A quiet chuckle escaped my lips.

I started to think about if the reason I was so invested in the Karasuno volleyball team was because I wanted to help the students or be closer to Ukai.

My pondering was interrupted by sudden sleepy grunts from Ukai which were followed by his hand feeling around what it was resting on.

He seemed to realize that my belly wasn't a pillow as his hand suddenly froze. His eyes shot open and got even wider when he was met my red face.

His hand quickly retracted to his body and his eyes scanned the way we were laying. He was even more confused by my behavior. I was rather calm compared to him being in this situation. He probably didn't remember how he got into this, which freaked him out even more.

"Y/N what is this, how did we? Oh my god...did we?" He wanted to shout but whispered because it was still early morning.

His face looked more apologetic as if he did something to make me uncomfortable.

"Don't worry we just slept together..." My eyes widened as I realized that my choice of wording couldn't be worse, Ukai mirrored my expression.

"Uh, no, I-I didn't mean that...What I meant was we slept NEXT to each other and that's it, nothing else." I frantically tried to correct myself while anxiously stumbling over my words.

A small smile crept on Ukai's face as he watched me mumble the explanation of how we got in this situation and get profusely redder.

"It's okay Y/N I get it and sorry for the trouble. I just hope I didn't make you uncomfortable with my drunk antics."

"Huh? No, no you were...it was...okay." I sat up on the duvet finally putting some distance between our faces.

His gaze went from my eyes to the opened window, he smiled to himself.

"I...should go now." I announced and quickly left the room without giving him a chance to respond.

...

"What a nice morning." Ukai murmured to himself as Y/N left.

*time skip*

Luckily on our way back from the training camp, the bus stopped by my house so I wouldn't have to carry the heavy bags myself.

I was finally home again and now I had the time to finish the nutritional plans for the boys. As I was searching up different dietary plans for professional volleyball players, I came across videos of volleyball matches.

I watched a few of them and the urge to try volleyball myself came over me and I ran to look if I had any ball to use.

I went to the basement of the house where some of the stuff of the previous tenants was still hanging around.

"I seriously need to clean this out." I rumbled as I rearranged the different garden equipment and old toys in hopes to find any ball-shaped thing.

There were heaps of things, most times I didn't even know what they were for and they were just collecting dust.

"Hah! Got you!" I exclaimed as I noticed a familiar pattern volleyball balls had.

I reached out to it but when my hand grabbed the surface, the ball squished under it.

I sighed. It wasn't filled with air.

I returned back to my room and continued with my work, printing out the dietary plans.

Later when I had spare time at work, I stopped by the classes and delivered the plans to the boys. I gave one to Kyoko and Yachi as well. Not because they needed any change in their diet but because I wanted them to know what the boys needed to be eating so that they could occasionally monitor them to make sure they were eating right.

Kyoko accepted the paper with a smile and then shot a look towards the other three 3rd years, who were attentively trying to listen in on our conversation from across the classroom.

The last person I needed to visit was Yachi who as always was anxiously shaking when talking to me.

Poor girl. I'm glad that the boys on the team treat her so nicely even though she always seemed so scared of them.

"Thank you, Yachi. I know you can do it." I encouraged her to which she only gave me a faint smile.

I didn't want to stress her out any further so I went back to my office.
