It was getting harder and harder to hold back the words, especially when even the implication had made Zoro so happy. Sanji had never seen the swordsman smile so easily as he had since Sanji had let himself imply it. Which was great to see, but Zoro had also become... well, clingy. He'd grab Sanji's hand (or waist or hip or shoulder) at random. He'd started humming and pulled Sanji into an impromptu slow dance, which would've been very nice if Sanji hadn't been in the middle of cooking. He'd even lightly slapped his ass! Even the rest of the crew being there hadn't stopped the swordsman from such displays of affection.

He was barely leaving Sanji's side, and while some of it made Sanji happy, it was also driving him absolutely insane.

Partly with horniness. Since their last major talk (and rather sexual act), Sanji'd been thinking about the option Zoro had offered. A lot. Like, all the time. And the original alternative, which somehow had become rather more appealing once he knew that the other was willing to reciprocate. He'd had wet dreams about how that first time should go both nights since it'd been brought up, and had still needed to jack off in the shower.

But the horniness had given Sanji half a plan, and it was that missing half that was really driving him crazy, because he couldn't let himself think up the other half when Zoro was around. It would show on his face, and Zoro would bother him until he found out, which would put a damper on the execution of said plan. It would be much more fun as a surprise.

If he could pull it off.

"Hey, wanna go for a swim? I can't seem to do enough 'light' weight lifting to burn off the energy I need to." Zoro came up behind him, wrapping his arms around Sanji's waist and kissing right below his ear.

Sanji grinned, even as he shuddered at the sensation. A swim sounded nice, actually. "As long as you can keep your hands to yourself in the water. And maybe in the damn kitchen, too?"

Zoro frowned, but retreated. "Fine.... Party pooper."

"Really? What are you, eight?" Sanji teased, continuing to cut the fruit he was preparing for a snack. "I've already told you, the kitchen is not a good place to be distracted, especially not when I have a knife in my hands."

"Maybe you need a distraction. Go get your trunks on, curly-brows."

"Give me five to finish this snack and I'll meet you in the water, mon chou." Sanji turned and pecked his cheek before he walked away.

And, true to his word, within five minutes the snack had been finished and set out, the girls notified so that if they wanted to get some before Luffy ate it all they could, and Sanji had gotten into his swim trunks. Zoro was similarly attired, waiting on the deck. With a grin, they both launched themselves off the railing and into the warm water below.

They raced a few times, swimming wide laps around the Sunny. After Zoro had won twice and Sanji once, Zoro distracted the other from asking for a rematch by sneaking around behind him and dunking him. Sanji shrieked, then, predictably, swore revenge as he resurfaced. He almost succeeded, except he forgot one little detail: Zoro was ridiculously strong. Sanji had even climbed up on his shoulders, trying to use his full body weight to push the other under the water, but Zoro somehow, impossibly, managed to tread water even with the blond up there.

The dunking attempts stopped when Chopper yelled down, "Law and I said LIGHT EXERCISE, Zoro! Pretty sure Usopp can't lift Sanji like that!"

From out of sight, they could hear Usopp complaining, not for the first time, about being used as a system of measurement.

Zoro flipped him off, cheerfully, but Sanji let himself fall off of Zoro's shoulders into the saltwater... where he promptly swam down and tickled the other's feet. As he'd hoped, Zoro began thrashing about before reaching down and grabbing for Sanji's hands. Sanji was ready for that though, and darted away playfully, which resulted in another chase.
