"Love you, Sanji," Zoro whispered, beginning to recover enough to pull out. Sanji stopped him by wrapping those long legs around his hips.

"Stay like this for a while?"

"I should get you down into the shower, clean you up." Zoro had found that he honestly enjoyed the aftercare nearly as much as the foreplay. He loved the way Sanji would cling to him and the little sounds Sanji would make as Zoro cleaned him up: soft sighs and sweet gasps and quiet murmurs of love.

"That can wait, at least for a minute or two. I.. I wanna be connected, right now."

Zoro reached up and pushed Sanji's hair out of his face. "If that's really what you want... fiance."

"Is it gonna make you hard again if I tell you I wanna take your last name?"

A soft groan sounded from his own mouth, and Zoro could feel his dick stiffen partially inside the blond. "Yes. Yes it is," Zoro answered unnecessarily. Then he smiled, still stroking Sanji's hair. "Roronoa Sanji... I like it."

Sanji grinned. "Me too. And it'll be kinda nice to have a proper last name again, even if you and I might be the only ones to consistently use it."

"I really get to marry you, love?" Zoro asked, pulling out of Sanji with another groan, despite Sanji's attempts to keep him in place. If he didn't pull out, he was going to end up wrecking his fiance's ass, which Sanji would probably not thank him for. Sanji hissed slightly at the slide out, clearly still sensitive.

"If you'll really have me."

"I'd like nothing better. Forever with you..." Zoro rolled to lay next to his cook again, unbothered by the small space or the mess. "Though I can't believe we're really engaged when we've only been officially dating for six weeks. I wasn't even going to broach the topic until three months, for fear of rushing you. How long do you want to wait for the wedding?"

"Hmm. Let's see. We'll need suits and rings — you will wear a suit, right?" Sanji asked him, and continued when Zoro nodded. "Then a little bit of time for anyone who can/wants to come to get to us. Do we wanna try to have Luffy officiate?"

Zoro thought for a moment. "Honestly, I do. He's a knucklehead, but he's the one that brought us together. It seems only right that he makes it official. Plus, at least our wedding won't be boring."

"Well, you're not wrong there. So maybe... a month?"

Zoro kissed him softly. "One little month until you're mine forever? I think I could survive that long."

There was comfortable silence between them for a few minutes before Zoro spoke again."You know, there's still some days when I'm convinced I'm still on that boat alone, and that this has all been a beautiful, elaborate dream my dying mind has made up to soothe me?"

Sanji responded by reaching down and pinching his lover's ass, hard. "How's that? Feel like a dream?" He asked, laughing a little.

Zoro glared lightly. "Thanks for confirming that... curly-brow." He bent his head down to kiss Sanji tenderly. "There were nicer ways of proving reality, but thanks for trying."

"Glad to help, my Marimo." Sanji's hand lingered on Zoro's ass, rubbing softly to soothe the spot that he'd pinched.

"Do you want flowers at the wedding?"

"Of course."

"What kind of flowers do you like?" Zoro had never thought to ask before now. He should've. He should've asked about anything and everything the blond liked. Everything that made him happy.

"Roses, lilies, larkspurs, camellias, peonies, tulips.... I enjoy flowers, so I'm okay with anything. What about you?"

Zoro found himself smiling a little. "Well, I used to always say wisteria was my favorite. But..."

When he didn't finish his sentence, Sanji teased, "Don't get shy on me now, Zoro. Tell me."

"On Kuraigana, there was really only one patch that got decent enough sunlight for flowers. And it grew these beautiful daffodils that reminded me of you." Zoro felt blood rise to his face as he continued. "Bright gold, "He touched Sanji's hair at that, as if to confirm the resemblance, "and the inner petals looked like a kissy face, like what you'd do when flirting with the ladies. I'd go and sit there for hours when I needed a break from training. Or from Perona. Sometimes, on particularly lonely days, I even found myself talking to them. They became my favorites."

"Aw, did my widdle Zoro-kins miss me?" Sanji teased, booping Zoro's nose.

Zoro squinched the offended feature, but laughed a little. "I did. I missed everyone, but... you most of all. And in a month, I'll never have to miss you again. Unless, of course, you ever again call me 'widdle Zoro-kins'," he gave a tiny, playful slap to Sanji's arm, "in which case I'll have to mysteriously vanish for your health and my own sanity, love."

"You already never have to miss me again. The wedding will just make it official." Sanji said, dropping the teasing voice and kissing him again."... and I missed you, too, y'know, those years that I was on Momoiro. Even if I hadn't yet imagined being with you like this." Sanji's voice took on a nostalgic tone. "After about a month there, I felt so alone that I carved little wooden depictions of all the crew. I carried them around with me as I ran and fought. My friends, to keep me sane in that hell. To remind me who I was and why I fought so hard. And what I needed to get back to. Yours was the first one I carved, actually."

"Because you were less afraid to mess up on mine than on, say, Nami's?"

"Partly," Sanji replied with a teasing smirk that Zoro wanted to kiss off his face. "Also partly because I knew that out of all our crew, you would be the one who'd tell me to get back up and fight if you were actually there. You'd give me hell — call me an idiot and a weakling and a shit-cook and who knows what else — if I even thought about giving up. Sometimes I almost thought I could hear your voice when I looked at it. I guess I relied on your strength more than I ever thought, even then."

Zoro's heart felt warm and full again. Sanji made him feel special so effortlessly, and it really wasn't fair. "Do you still have them?"

"Yeah."

"You'll have to show them to me sometime. Maybe we can carve one of you, too, and use them as a cake topper."

"I'm not opposed to that idea. But is that offer of cleaning up still on the table? Because as happy as I am to plan our wedding, I'm beginning to feel a little gross."

Zoro rolled off the couch immediately, dressed quickly and scooped up his fiance, wrapping him in a blanket. "As you wish, love." And he bundled his fiance off to the shower.
