"Chismis" - means gossip.

Y/n was taking a walk in the busy street of Paris whilst her car's engine was being fixed back at their house. So, she only took a taxi and requested to be dropped off in front of the Entrance to Rue Montorgueil Food Market. Although she never really went inside the Market, she walks passed the entrance of the market and wandered around the street.
As she crossed the pedestrian lane, a taxi driver honked at her, almost hitting her, especially when the Taxi drove fast.
"Enculé!" She shouted at the driver who had driven away. (Translation: Piece of sh*t!)
Many imagined that Paris, France is perfect(very perfect) or somewhat a place for a good getaway vacation. So, people who haven't been to Paris do not know that there are french people who are rude to tourists, especially when these tourists mispronounced French or can't speak french, especially those people who are thinking that they're good at french even though they're not. But for Y/n, she believes that countries have many imperfections, just like when she visited the Philippines when she was 9. It was a vacation for only a week and they were visiting a relative, a cousin of her father and her aunt, Lilibeth.
The story was that...Y/n and Fatima, her cousin, were playing with their dolls in the living whilst Lilibeth, Fatima's mother, was complaining about how her neighbours started to spread rumours about her being pregnant with another man when it's all clear that she only has gained weight from stress eating. Well, most Filipinos are truly fond of chismis. Whenever they heard a rumour, their ears would clap and their mouths would ask "Anong balita meron?"(Translation: What's news is there?) or they would ask "Ano yung chismis tungkol kay...." (Translation: What's the gossip about...)
Many couldn't deny, especially the citizens of their own country, that if a country has perfections then there will be flaws too. It's like a balance situation.
Y/n stopped in front of a flower shop and has seen her father's favourite flowers, Lilies, placed in a pot with pink roses and baby's breath.
She knew that her father would buy it for her mother if he had seen this - if only he was still there with them, he truly would do it again and he wouldn't be tired of it. She remembered her father would often come home, carrying a bouquet of lilies, giving it to her dearest mama. And he would pick out one flower from the bouquet and give it to his daughter to show how much he truly loves and cares for her.
"Puis-je vous aider, mademoiselle?" A voice interrupted her from her thoughts. (Translation: Can I help you, miss?)
"Oh, non, madame." She smiled. "Je trouve juste les fleurs merveilleuses." (Translation: I just quite find the flowers wonderful.)
"Très bien alors. Passez une bonne journée, mademoiselle." The owner of the shop said and went back inside her shop. (Translation: Very well then. Have a great day, miss.)
She sighed deeply and went on to go for a relaxing walk. She was thinking of buying a book and reading it at the park. She knew that she deserves it, especially when she had long tiring weeks.
Although, she really thought this would be the best time for her to find peace, when suddenly, someone's car honked at her, causing her to glare at the man.
Of course, it was no other than Draco.
"Isn't it that you are scheduled to meet me today?" Draco smirked. "And yet, here you are, escaping from me."
Yes, it was her schedule to meet up with that blond young man, who she despises. Her mother has told her about it, that Ms Ysabelle has already placed a schedule for her to meet Draco so that Draco could do something for his book. However, she chose to not meet him and never told about it her mother because if she did, she'll get scolded again.
"You must be mistaken." She spoke whilst Draco got out of his car. "I was scheduled to visit my aunt."
"You're not a good liar yourself. You have no schedule to visit your aunt." He scoffed.
"And how d'you know about it?"
"Saw your schedule from Ms Ysabelle." He smirked. "Now, get in if you want this book thing to be done."
"I do not want to spend 3 hours with you, sir." She talked back.
"You do know that if you get mad at me in public, it'll ruin your reputation, your so-called perfect reputation."
"I'm not the one who called myself perfect, it is the people." She hissed.
"And I'm not the one who called myself a womanizer, it is you."
Y/n scoffed, rolling her eyes at him. She really didn't want to spend hours with him for the reason that he is not only a womanizer to her but also the person who made her cry because of her necklace.
"You're still mad at me because of the necklace, are you?" He spoke
"I already didn't like you ever since I met you. You just made me even hate you more because of it."
"Look," He sighed, leaning against his car. "I know I did the wrong thing—"
"So you're apologizing?" She raised a brow, a vicious smirk formed her lips.
Of course, this just made Draco furious deep inside, but he didn't let these emotions be seen, for he knew it'll just result in something that he didn't want to happen.
"Yes," He replied. "Please just..." He hated to say 'please' but he knew that he should say it. "Just give me a chance to make it up to you."
"You do know that I cannot easily forgive you or maybe not forgive you," She scoffed.
Oh, how hard-headed could she get and how Draco wanted to throw her at the nearest lake or river just to satisfy his anger.
"And you do know if you keep on being a hard-headed woman, someone will spread talks about it, and not to mention, we're in public."
Y/n went silent, for she knew that if people started talking about her attitude, people may look down on her and think how vicious can she be. She couldn't do anything about it, especially when society always has its mouth, eyes, and ears open whenever they have heard gossip. It is what the world is and there's no escaping it.
"So," Draco opened the door of the car for her. "You coming or not?"
She eyed him up and down, contemplating whether he should get in the car or refuse. And if she refused, of course, her mother will hear about it because of this blond man, smirking in front of her.
"Fine." She sighed frustratedly and walked into the car. "Just don't annoy me." She slammed the door before Draco could even close it for her.
"I won't," He smiled, walking back to the driver's seat and sitting down as he closed the door.
"Where are we going anyway?" Of course, she still sounds a bit irritated.
"Somewhere."
