She has fallen asleep in Draco's arms after telling him everything she had been through. She looked quite relieved when she shared those painful thoughts with him.
Draco already knew how she reached the point where she wanted to leave this world of chaos.
What may that be? Well, to start...she told him how cruel her dance mistresses or masters were to her, telling her that she should lose weight and for not doing well enough even though she had poured all the very best she could do, and even her mother agreed to her dance instructors. Her mother didn't even side with her, but only her aunt. She didn't even let her daughter take a day's rest, believing that resting is just a waste of time for opportunities. She didn't even care if she was fatigued or had already fainted due to her mother's expectations of her. It has been a pain in the chest and she could hardly even breathe and yet her mother still convinces her to keep on going. Cruel, isn't it?
What's crueller is that after she just got discharged from the hospital, she was even scolded for committing suicide instead of comforting her. Her mother even paid the hospital staff to keep their mouth shut about what happened to her to keep such an unpleasant and horrific event that has happened to her because of the fact that she believes that it'll ruin her career.
Draco sighed as he swiped away the fallen strands of hair from her cheeks. He understood the pressure her mother has placed her in. Her life was chaotic behind her perfect smiles.
Y/n then slowly opened her eyes and saw Draco looking down at her whilst her head was still resting in his arms.
"Oh, I'm sorry," She suddenly stood up and Draco's eyes followed her. "I didn't mean to take so much of your time and sleep in your arms."
"It's alright," He plastered a soft smile on his lips. "I didn't mind, mi amada." He didn't know why he just said that. (Translation: "My Beloved" in Spanish)
"Mi amada?" She chuckled a bit, her smile never left her lips. "What does that mean?"
"It's nothing really."
"I'm not entirely convinced that it was just nothing." She told, sitting down on the armchair and waiting for Draco's reply.
He doesn't know what to tell her. How will he explain to her that it just slipped out of his mouth after telling her the true meaning of mi amada? She might find out that Draco admires her and maybe he'll make her uncomfortable. He didn't want that. He fears everything might go wrong if he told her.
So out of his nervous and jumbled thoughts, he lied.
"It means friend."

Morning came and Draco only slept a few hours. He could hardly get a wink, thinking about last night when he lied to her. He felt guilty, yes, and he is indeed terrified that she'll know sooner or later.
He got out of his bed and headed to the kitchen. It was already dawn and the sun was already peaking out of the mountains, illuminating the town with its soft morning rays. Y/n would've loved to watch the sun from the tall window but now wasn't the perfect timing, for he knew that she needed to take some long rest after crying last night.
The living room was also still a bit messy — the wine glass with a little amount of champagne, which Y/n drank while watching the television, on the coffee table, the unfolded blanket on the couch, the glass of water on the sink, and the messy shoes nearby the entrance door. Draco hated never liked a messy place — even though it wasn't that too messy — but he took his wand anyway and cast a spell to let the broom sweep alone, fix the shoes, and fold the blanket. The only thing he did is taking the wine glass to the sink and washed it along with the empty glass.
What Draco only hoped this morning is that Y/n wouldn't witness any of this. She would've screamed or perhaps even fainted, especially when she has just woken up. It would've been a disaster if that happens.
However, Draco still feels unfortunate for lying to her. He indeed hurt his own feelings when he told her that "mi amada" means "my friend", but what can he do when Y/n looks entirely sure that their relationship cannot exceed something more than friends? Although, the thought of calling her mi amada made him express his adoration towards her even though she's naive about it.
He let his body fall unto the couch after tidying up the house. His mind was still clouded by the thought of her.
It wasn't about when he call her beloved last night, it was about what she told him. Those long stories that she told. He felt bad for her. It's no wonder why she wanted this trip badly.
