A/N: I don't own Warriors. Erin Hunter does. I just play with the characters.

A couple of sunrises later Mapleshade was sitting in a spot of sunlight in front of the RiverClan nursery while watching her kits playing with a moss ball. They have adjusted to life here better than I expected. They are soon swimming as if they would have done it their whole lives. She thought remembering a swimming session the day before.

' Mapleshade padded out of the nursery, her kits tumbling around her. The queen headed to the fresh kill pile, choosing a small minnow. After eating she looked at her kits who were now tussling with each other. " We are having a swimming lesson today. If you want to be  real RiverClan cats you have to learn to how to swim. I do too. " She explained to the trio who squealed in excitement.

" Like we did in the ThunderClan territory?" Patchkit asked, his tail twitching with the excitement he was feeling.

Mapleshade nodded. " Sort of. This time you will learn it in more shallow water than the river. " She explained, leading the kits to a small puddle near the nursery. She watched as the trio pawed the water, squealing with excitement. What she didn't notice were two apprentices and their mentors who were watching the family.

" It seems like Appledusk's ThunderClan mate tries to make her kits RiverClan by teaching them how to swim. I'm sure that they'd drown if the water was even slightly deeper than it is. " One of the apprentices, a tortoiseshell she-cat hissed to the tom beside her who nodded.

" Yeah, I think so too. " He nodded, glaring at the kits.

" Schorchpaw. Perchpaw. Behave yourself. " Appledusk hissed at the apprentices, his eyes boring into the two , especially his own apprentice, Perchpaw.

The siblings didn't react to the comment in any way. They just continued to glare at Mapleshade and her kits.

Appledusk hissed slightly at the two. " Today we will go over the water fighting moves. " He told the pair, who now looked at him, seemingly excited.

Mapleshade kept watching over her kits who were now splashing around in the shallow pool. '

The tortoiseshell and white queen  snapped out of her thoughts when she heard a pained yowl coming from the nursery. That sounded like Patchkit.

She rushed into the nursery, looking around for her son." Patchkit. What happened? Are you hurt?" She mewed worriedly, sniffing at the orange and white kit that was trembling like a leaf in the wind.

Patchkit shook his head at his mother's question. " I saw a dream. . In it I was near the Sunningrocks and there was a fight going on. I heard a voice yowl " Murderers! You will pay for what you did for ThunderClan!" Then I saw how a big dark brown tom attacked a patrol of RiverClan cats , including a grey tom who i think is the deputy  . He  was one of the cats who got hurt the worst. Then when the patrol got back , I heard a horrible screech coming from the nursery. I think it was Frostfall."  He explained , shaking.

The tom he saw in the dream must have been Spiketail. He's the mate of Frostfall. Is it possible that Patchkit had a vision? What if it comes true? Spiketail is the deputy of RiverClan, he's too important to lose,  Mapleshade thought.

She purred reassuringly to her son. " It wasn't real. You just imagined it. You are safe here. "

Patchkit relaxed, burrowing his head into his mother's side. Mapleshade purred , falling asleep herself.

A/N: What do you think? Should Patchkit's vision come true one way or another?
