First Time

Scarletts POV

I was just finishing making breakfast and setting everything up for when they come down, which is when I got disturbed by the familiar noise from my phone.

I wiped my hands with the towl before picking up my phone from the counter and answering the call.

"Hello" I greeted my agent on the other end of the line.

"Hi sweetheart, I have some news on your recent audition" she spoke, taking a very long break as i stood in silence anticipating what the news could be.

"And?" I asked since she didn't seem like she was going to speak up very soon.

"Oh, yes, you got the role!" She cheered. I couldn't help but jump up and down on my spot, cheering to myself, bunching my empty fist into the air.

"Really!" I replied, more as a statement than a question.

"Yes dear, and you'll be happy to know that Chris evans made the part too" she added. I could almost hear her grinning. She must have somehow set this us, we keep ending up in the same movies, but I'm not complaining, evans is one of my besties.

"Oh my god! I can't believe it! Um, thank you!" I thanked her, not really sure what else to say.

"Yes I will get back in contact with you on the other info, but I heard you have a new daughter" she spoke up making me frown a little.

"Um, yes- no- well, she's not new, she's always been my baby, she only just came back to me, why?" I asked a bit confused on why she mentioned my daughter.

"The casting people told me they heard about her and were wondering if she'd want to try out for another role in the movie" she informed me making me smile a little. Y/n, in a movie, with me. I would have to see what she thinks first and if she'd want to do it, but I really would love my daughter being in a movie with me.

"I'll, have to see about that, but can you tell me a bit about this character?" I asked in attempt to get more information. I need to know if the role is perfect for her, exspecaily since it'll be her first ever movie.

"Well, the character is a teenager, roughly around 16, 17. She's a female, short, y/h/c. Oh and the role is your characters daughter" she told me. This would be perfect for y/n.

"That would be perfect for y/n" I spoke my thoughts.

"That's what I thought, the casters said they couldn't quite find the perfect match, then they found out about y/n and wanted me to get in touch with you about her so here I am" I explained and I just nodded in reply even though she couldn't see me.

"Well like I said, I'll have to get back in touch with you about that, I need to speak to her first" I repeated.

"Ah, yes, okay then, well done on your part yet again dear, bye now" she congratulated me.

"Bye" I grinned before hanging up and placing the phone on the counter.

Just as I placed it down, cosmos cries were heard through the baby monitor I bought down into the kitchen with me.

"Uh, I'm coming sweetie" I spoke as I took off my apron and hung it up before leaving the kitchen and making my way to cosmos nursery.

"Hiii!" I greeted my baby in a high pitched tone, watching as he notices me and his cries die down.

"Did you have a good sleep" I spoke as I lifted him up and took him to the changing table to change his bottom.

"You slept in later than usual didn't you, you must be really hungry huh" I continued to speak in a baby voice.
