Y/ns POV

My mom has just called up the photographer who takes her head shots, and booked an appointment, but this time for me. Since here we are. in the car. driving. to the photographer...

I'm really nervous. I have butterflies swirling around my stomach, making me feel a little nauseous.

I'm starting to regrett my desicion. Maybe acting is just not for me?. Maybe just my mom. I'm okay with that.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by my mother's soothing voice beside me.

"Huh?" I asked, snapping my head towards her, then looking down in my lap where both of my hands lay, one on the other, with my mom's hand over them both. I must have been unconsciously tracing my mark again.

"I said we're here" she repeated. "Oh um, right." I slowly nodded my head as I turned back to look ahead of me.

There's a tall building block, like an office building. It looks professional.

"Theres nothing to be nervous about" my mom spoke as she took her hand back, clearly sensing my unease from this moment.

"I know, I'm sorry I can't help it." I reply a bit guilty of my none stop anxiety.

"Come on" she tapped my thigh, signalling for me to get out of the car before she grabbed her gadgets and got out.

I grabbed my phone and opened the door, also getting out of the car before closing the door behind me and hurrying over to my mom's side.

I look up at the intimidating building. If I feel this out of controll now, how am I going too feel at the audition.

I feel my mom grab my hand, pulling me out of my thoughts yet again. I look at her with a blank expression, getting a reassuring smile in return.

"We dont have to do this you know" she softly spoke, looking into my eyes.

"No I know, I want to." I reply with a nod. "You know, its n9t everyday you get an opportunity like this"

"Okay, come on, let's get this over with" she spoke before taking in a deep breath and starting to walk, dragging me along with her.

We entered the building which is exactly as it seemed. And office building.

We walked up to the front desk and my mom greeted the lady as if they were familiar with eachother.

"Hello again, didn't expect to see you here just yet" the lady smiled at my mom.

"Yes, this one has an audition so we're g9nna get some headshots" my mom replied, clearly referring to me.

"Oh yes!" The lady cheered. "It's the 14th floor, down the corridor on your left. Ben will be there waiting for you. (Ben IDK HSGAKRJD)

"Okay thank you" my mom thanked as she started walking to the elevator, still holding my hand.

"My hands are sweating" I inform her as the elevator door closes, leaving us in our own private space with no one around.

"I can tell" she chuckles lifting my hand that's still firmly gripped onto hers.

"Sorry" I apologise, taking my hand back, letting hers breathe before she immediately grabs my hand again.

"It's okay" she assures me.

We stand in a comfortable silence as the elevator rises. Us moving closer and closer to eachother as the lift starts to fill up more, per floor.

We finally reach the 14th floor and squeeze through the crowd. We'll I did. My mom seems to be well known around here since she greeted all the people like they were her friends.
