"ITS MY BIRTHDAY" I yell as I run out of my bedroom.
Usually I'm not this excited about my birthday, they're just like any regular day except you get like 1 gift. But today is SPECAIL because I'm GOING TO MEET THE AVENGER CAST.
I run into the bathroom and hop into the shower. I sing to some of my favourite songs whilst cleaning myself and... maybe a little bit of dancing too. The shower is so warm, It always has an effect on me which makes me want to just go to sleep, but today I'm too pumped up with adrenaline.
After I washed myself, I hopped out of the shower, grabbing the towl off of the radiator and wrapped it around me before getting lotion out of the cabinet draw, and applying it all over my body. When I rubbed it all in I decided to brush my teeth.
Once I've finished everything I needed to do in the bathroom I returned back to my room and decided to sort out my face. I blow dried my hair and decided I would leave it down today, i prefere it that way. Then I applied a little bit of make-up, I don't really wear that much make-up, I just use a base coat to cover my acne that comes from time to time, and help my eyes pop out.
Once I done all that, I changed into the outfit I specaily chose for this day.

I mean it's litteraly just like my everyday outfits, I just chose this one specifically for today because its one of my favourites, and I wanted to look my best meeting Scarlett Johanson.
I stood in front of my tall mirror to check out my outfit.
"Hmm looks pretty good" I tell myself.
*DING*
A notification appears on my phone, I walk over to where I left it to find a message from my bff.
It read 'Happy BIRTHDAY Y/N, can't wait to see you after' I then replied to her with a message saying 'thank you c:'
I checked the time on my phone to see that it's only 9am causing me to let out a big sigh. Y/bff/n is coming to pick me up at 11am, meaning I had 2 hours to spare.
I made sure I got my pj's and another change of clothes in my bag for the hotel we were staying at tonight.
Once knowing I was all ready, I walked downstairs to find my mother in the kitchen.
"Happy birthday kiddo" she told me.
I smiled in reply. "What are you making" I questioned.
"Oh, some pancakes for your lil sis, if you're hungry there's some waffles you can cook in the toaster" she told me
A confused feeling overtook me internally. It's my birthday. Wait wait, its my 16TH BIRTHDAY and she's cooking pancakes, which we rarely have, for my little sister when she knows they're my favourite?
"Ok" I told her walking over to the toaster to make myself some waffles. After eating the waffles and cleaning up my plate, I went into the living room where my dad and sister were.
"Hi y/n" your dad said not taking his eyes off the TV where football was playing.
"Alright" I mumbled in response. Before walking back to my room.
A big sigh escapes my lips as I flop down on my bed. An overwhelming feeling taking me causing tears to gather up behind my eyes.
Its my 16th birthday and they don't even care.
I decide to just forget about them and go on tiktok to occupy myself a bit whilst waiting for y/bff/n to come.
