I OPENED MY EYELIDS SLOWLY, ONLY TO CLOSE THEM AGAIN DUE TO THE BRIGHT, MORNING LIGHT.

Blinking several times, so my eyes could adjust, I realized I was in a car.

A van.

Eddie's van.

I tried to get up, but a hand that was snaked around my torso pulled me back, while I heard a person groan slightly.

Turning my head back, I saw Eddie.

And I was- laying on him!?

What the fuck!?

No, no, no. Wait. Focus.

What the hell happened last night?

That's when all the memories kicked in; me going to Eddie's trailer to surprise him, him having a drug deal with Chrissy Cunningham and her ending up severely broken on his trailer floor.

I felt my heartbeat rise and I started to panic, yet again.

Then all the thoughts hit me like arrows on a target, and my overthinking spree began.

Where are we?

What are we gonna do about Chrissy?

Have they found the body?

What about Eddie's uncle?

Are we wanted for murder?

What the hell are we still doing in the van!?

Then Eddie shifted beneath me, shaking me out of my thoughts and making me flinch slightly.

How is he able to sleep with me on top of him?

Then my eyes took a glimpse of his watch.
The time was- 11:34!?

What the fu- how did we sleep so much after what happened last night!?

We have some serious problems.

Then Eddie groaned again slowly opening his eyes.
When he saw me, he smiled.

"Good morning." He muttered.

I looked at him in disbelief.

Is he fucking serious!?

"What?" He asked, clearly confused.

"Eddie. Where are we?" I asked him calmly, as I noticed his tired expression change into a panicked one.

"Oh! Oh my God!" He yelled, standing up with a swift movement, while still holding me on top of him. "Chrissy! She- she-" He started hyperventilating.

"Hey, hey, hey!" I interrupted him, placing my hands at the sides of his face. "Shhh." I stroked his cheeks with my thumbs, in desperate attempts to calm him down. "We're okay. We'll figure this out. Together. Okay?"

He nodded vigorously, trying to swallow the lump forming in his throat.

"You feeling better?" I asked, after a few seconds, seeing his demeanor change.
