“Are you sure we should be doing this mission, maybe we should have given it to Flynn and Eve, or the boys. I mean, something like this will peak their interests and... you haven’t seen or spoken to either of them in three months.”

“It's our job to make sure anything magical ends up within the walls of the Library. Beside, we could have been done with this minutes ago if you would just let me...”

“We've been over this, only in an emergency. We don’t want to alert those people that you are out here now do we?”

At the sound of the argument around the corner, Coulson stops his team, eyes landing on May to confirm he is hearing correctly. Seeing the hidden look of surprise in her eyes, Coulson is sure about his thing. Looking towards Simmons, Fitz and Ward, he can see that they have yet to realise what is going on.

“You three, back to the car.”

He orders and he can see the displeasure in Ward’s eyes to be bundle up with the science twins. Seeing how he is about to argue, Coulson gives him a pointed look. Fitz grabs hold of Ward’s arm and starts to pull the stronger man with him.

“Well, they haven’t shown their ugly face in three months so I think we are good.”

“We haven’t been out only the two of us before now. Aren’t I supposed to be the head in the cloud?”

Shaking his head, Coulson looks towards May again who nods. With careful steps, they walk around the corner, their eyes landing on Skye and Cassandra Cillian. The two Librarians standing beside a still smoking crater. Seeing as the two of them are to absorbed in their heated argument to even notice they have an audience, Coulson rosses his arms, a smile playing on his lips.

“Oh, come on. That line isn’t fair to anyone except Flynn. Beside, it’s not like anyone will show up at this time, it hit only an hour ago.”

Skye points out, pointing towards what ever is in the crater and Cassandra looks down.

“I don’t know, we managed to reach this place quite quickly.”

Coulson decides this would be as good as any time to speak up, before the two of them decides to start arguing. He can see how both girls freezes in their movements, their eyes turning towards one another.

“What did I say?”

“Oh shut it Geek.”

The two hisses at one another before slowly turning their attention towards him and May. Skye gives her best innocent smile.

“Hey, what’s up?”

She says, using the exact same line and tone of voice as when he and Ward picked her up from her van months ago. Lifting one eyebrow at the greeting, Skye lowers her head.

“What are two Librarians doing out here without their Guardian?”

He asks, looking around to see if he can spot Eve or Nicole, quite sure that neither would let Skye and Cassandra out on their own. Even if Skye happens to be carrying Excalibur on her back. Seeing how Cassandra turns to look at Skye with narrowed eyes, Coulson gets the feeling he is missing something.

“You didn’t tell them, seriously?”

She asks, which makes Skye shrug, her hands in her pockets.

“I didn’t see it necessary that they knew. I wasn’t planning on seeing them for a while and beside, it’s Library business so it shouldn’t be talked about with none Librarians, Guardians or Caretakers.”

Skye explains and Cassandra rolls her eyes.

“Sometimes you are just...”

“Just what? A psychopath? I thought that was one of the reasons why you wanted to go out with me in the first place.”

Skye says with a grin, which makes Cassandra blush slightly. Looking at the two of them as they start talking like no one is round once more, Coulson turns to May.

“Are you understanding any off this?”

“Not so sure. Hey, you two.”

May speaks for the first time and as she calls out to Skye and Cassandra, they return back to this world.

“The psychopath is never a Librarian...”

“Unless they are my uncle.”

Skye mumbles in a low voice, her eyes on the ground and Cassandra places a hand on her arm.

“He was never a true Librarian and you know that.”

She says in a low voice, Coulson being surprised he managed to actually hear what she said. Seeing the weak smile Skye gives her and how she places her own hand over Cassandra's, Coulson starts to wonder what have gone down during the three months they have been apart.

“As I was saying, the psychopath is never the Librarian, they ate the Guardian. They are our common sense to our head in the clouds...”

Cassandra continues to explain, only to stop and look at Skye once more.

“Even if someone isn’t showing that part if very well today.”

She adds and Skye rolls her eyes.

“So, it is a Librarian and her Guardian out here today.”

Cassandra finally finished explaining, turning her attention back to him and May and Coulson realises her hand is still linked on Skye’s arm. Deciding that now isn’t the best time to mention it, they lost that ability when Skye decided to stay with her family, he turns to look behind them.

“I presume that’s something that should be locked up in the Library then?”

He asks, making Skye and Cassandra look around themselves and May look at him.

“Yes, it will be to dangerous if it ends up in the wrong hands. I’m just surprised it managed to find its way back down to earth once more.”

Cassandra explains, letting go of Skye’s arm to take a better look. Seeing as the Librarian is occupied with her work, Coulson nods his head to signal Skye to come towards him and May. Seeing that Skye follows the simple order, he makes a quick look around the corner.

“Take of your jacket, grab your girl friend and the object and get out of here. I have a feeling Ward won’t be staying for long in the car.”

He says in a low voice. Seeing the surprised in Skye’s eyes, he nods his head towards Cassandra to signal her to move. With a nod of her own head, Skye moves the magical sword from her back, it starts to hover beside her as she takes of the leather jacket. He feels how his eyes grows at the sight in front of him.

Her wings, what he guess, has grown to their full length and how she managed to hide them under the leather jacket is beyond his guess.

“Just make sure to call once in a while, FitzSimmons really miss you.”

He tells her and with one finally nod of her head, he watches as the former hacktivist, the girl they had thought was trouble and for a while, a traitor, grab hold of her girlfriend who let’s out a small scream of surprise. They watches as she jumps into the crater and just as she shoots up into the darkening night, Ward, Simmons and Fitz joins them.

“Was that...”

Simmons starts to say, only to grow silent. With a look at May, she nods her head and turns.

“Well, there is nothing left for us here. We can’t follow and angel. Back to the BUS.”

He orders, he can hear how Ward starts to argue as he and May walks away, and he can hear how Fitz and Simmons are talking to one another in a very low voices. But for now, there was nothing they could do. Because there is no winning against the Library, not with the brightest people and the two biggest psychopaths on their team.
