Emmalynn was pacing like a crazy lady around the museum. Rearranging everything over and over again, cleaning, and redoing her makeup Tess had worked so hard to make perfect, with it being subtle and natural looking. She even wore a cute blue dress from Tess because she was honestly just going to wear some jeans and a T-shirt until Tess insisted. It reminded her of that first date. She didn't want to do this. She wanted to go hide at her apartment with Luna and not come out until he was gone. But Tess kept reminding her 

"You owe him an explanation girl."

"I know you're right. I know but what if he confirms what I always knew."

"Stop Emmalynn. I don't know why he didn't come after you, maybe your letter made him think that he wasn't good enough for you or something. He never did get with that Lexie."

"I know. I know but I still left and I still wrote those awful things. What if... he finally realized what a fucking psycho I am inside and decided it was better this way. I mean I always thought I wasn't good enough for him."

"Emmalynn for the 100000th time that just isn't true. He reassured you so much as have I and your parents. Baby girl you are so amazing. You have overcome a lot of those demons. Now stop. You owe him an explanation." 

"You're right."

But would she be able to do it? Could she face him and tell him the truth about why she left or hear the truth about why he broke his promise and saw Lexie? She still didn't know what really happened with Lexie and Tess was right they didn't end up dating. Lexie, gah, that name. She had been so jealous of Emmalynn the minute she heard that Alex was with her. She wanted him to have arm candy because it would be good for her career. She went to great links to get Emmalynn out of the way. That night. A month prior to her leaving she came home from the museum and...

"Hey baby, I wasn't expecting you home so early. I thought you had to film until...What the hell?" She walked into her bedroom and found clothes strewn about that weren't hers or his. They were a woman's and as she looked at their bed she saw her.

Lexie was lying there almost naked except for a sheer pink nightie that left nothing to the imagination. She smiled innocently at Emmalynn with big eyes trying to look all innocent and doe-like but she could see the snake lying in them from a mile away.

"Oh, I'm so sorry you found out this way. Elisha was it?" Lexie said as she got up from the bed and covered herself with their bedspread. "Alex told me you were going to be out of town so I came over to surprise him. He even lent me his key" She held up a key that was black and had cat eyes on it. Emmalynn knew that key.

She was about to run out of the townhouse crying. So many emotions were running through her head but then her phone beeped and it was Alex. He was locked outside because someone on set had taken his key. That's when she knew. She knew the bitch must have been lying. She called Alex and put the phone on speaker but muted him so he could hear but not be heard.

"Oh Lexie, you really think I'd fall for this terrible porno scene. How juvenile of you." Her southern bitch was about to come out and go postal on this bimbo.

Lexie looked taken aback but still thought she had the upper hand. She dropped the pretense and stood with her arms crossed pushing up her fake boobs and exposing way too much to Emmalynn.

"Yes, that is Alexander's key but I know you stole it from him. I also know that if you don't get your ass out of our house in 2 minutes I will throw you out the window and I won't even open it first." They heard Alex pounding on the door.
