Chongyun POV:

Eventually the weekend came around and Shenhe was out at work again, we went down to the kitchen to try and make some lunch but here was hardly any food, all we had was cereal and some bread. Because of this me and Xingqiu decided to go to the shops to get some food.

We made out way down and Xingqiu tried to steer us away from the loud crowds because of my head. Crowds weren't my biggest problem but they still kind of hurt so we tried to avoid them.

However avoiding crowds ended up making us walk down alleyways which are usally full of... sketchy people...

Eventually we found a food stall and I pointed it out, Xingqiu said he'd wait there for me since he didn't like going to shops which was fair enough. I went up to the stall and bought some noodles and qingxin flowers along with some spicy noodles for Xingqiu.

After paying I went back to the alley where I had left Xingqiu but when I got there he had 3 other people who looked of similar age to us around him, I stood and watched to see what they were doing although thinking about it now, I should stepped in before they said anything at all.

"So you're Chongyun's little boyfriend huh?" One of the girls said,

"How do you even know who he is?" Xingqiu asked, clearly nervous.

"Oh C'mon, even you knew who he was before you ever spoke to him, you had to, everyone does!" Another one spoke,

"Well yeah but why do you care if I'm his boyfriend?" He asked, starting to get seemingly defensive,

"Because...I mean we aren't homophobic or anything we just... how did someone like you pull someone like him?!" The girl sneered,

"What.. what do you mean?" Xingqiu stuttered,

"Well I mean he is so... strong and.. buff.. and you're so... small.. I mean sure your about as tall as him but you haven't got any muscle on you! I mean look at you it's just flubber if it's anything!" The last boy laughed, poking his shoulder aggressively.

It was at that point I snapped back to reality and stepped in,

"HEY!" I yelled, making all of them physically jump,

"yun-" Xingqiu started but I quickly interrupted,

"Don't you fucking DARE touch him." I was already losing my shit.

"Oh don't get all mad we were just messing around!" One of the boys laughed,

"Oh yeah right so funny." I spoke sarcastically,

They all looked at me unsure of what to say next.

"FUCK OFF!" I screamed one more time, making them all flinch before running off,

All the yelling had made my head hurt a little but my focus moved over to my boyfriend,

"Xingqiu are you ok?" I asked worriedly, running over to him,

"you... you yelled loud..." he whispered, not taking his eyes off the ground.

"I'm sorry- I'm so sorry Xingqiu! I was just trying to get them to leave you alone I'm sorry!" I almost cried, I felt so bad, how could I have lost my temper like that in front of Xingqiu? How could I be so careless!?

"It's ok Yun... let's just go home." He muttered, taking my hand and starting to walk home, he still didn't look at me.
