Bonus story

A/N: Hey everyone, I feel very incomplete now knowing I don't have a fic to write so I'm going to start a new one ASAP, but for now have this little bonus chapter of plain fluff set in the future (they're 17 now) cuz I miss writing for u all <3

Chongyun POV, 1 year later:

"Yunnnn, I'm homeeee~" Xingqiu called as he walked into the house,

He walked into the room to find me eating a popsicle as per usual and sat down next to me, placing his bag down by the desk,

"Good afternoon, my liege, are you feeling any better?" he greeted, gently placing his hand on my cheek and pulling me face away from my popsicle so that I was facing him,

He had left the house at 7am for school and I had stayed home today since I had overheated and passed out this morning due to a bad dream. I know it sounds stupid but I still had dreams about all the stuff that had happened a year ago and it stressed me out alot, I was feeling fine now though.

"Yeah, I slept until 11 and then had a cold shower, I feel much better now." I replied smiling,

He lightly squished my face in his hands before placing a kiss on my lips,

"Good, now do you want something to eat or-"

"How was your day Xingqiu?" I interrupted, I know how much he struggles being at school without me but he had made so much progress with his mental health over the last year,

He was managing his depression amazingly and his anxiety had become almost dormant,

"My day was alright, Bennett said he hopes you're ok and Razor made you this." he then handed me a peice of paper with messy writing on it that said;

'Feal beter soon! from Razor' With a little wolf drawing underneath,

"Aw.. that's so kind of them." I smiled,

"Yun yun is so cute~" Xingqiu teased, I almost instantly went red, we had been together for almost 2 years and I still got flustered at his compliments,

"Wha- I didn't even do anything!" I half yelled,

"You existed!" He grinned, kissing me on the forehead,

"That's not fair. How would you feel if I randomly called you beautiful just because you existed!" I pouted,

He smiled slyly and somehow pulled me closer,

"I'm so glad you think I'm beautiful yun yun~"

I had no response for that. I couldn't deny it but I didn't want to admit defeat so I simply gave up and hid my face in his shoulder so he couldn't look at my blush but unfortunately for me he still knew just how flustered I was.

He put one of his hands on the back of my head and ran his fingers through my hair, I love when he does that, it's so comforting and it feels so nice, he then put his hands on my shoulders and pushed me back, looking me firmly in the eyes, like he was deep in thought before suddenly speaking,

"Ah Yun Yun, I don't want you overheating again but it's so fun to tease you, whatever am I going to do!" He huffed, falling back onto the bed, very dramatically.

I crawled over next to him and lay down,

"You know, you could always-"

"Give you a hickey?" He interrupted,

I glared at him,

"It still hurts from last time! You're going to pertinently bruise my skin if you keep this up!" I argued, pulling down my hoodie to reveal my very bruised collar bone, for the past few weeks my skin had been his favourite snack and as much as I loved it, it was killing me.
