Diana plopped herself on her bed, feeling lightheaded. "That's it, Gumdrop. I'm on the brink. I’m going to lose my seat." She hugs her cat as it licks her tears off Diana's cheeks. “Ew! Stop it!” she screamed, which scared her Persian cat off the bed.
Her computer flashes a new IM alert from MySpace. Diana sat up and stared at the flashing alert. She felt an idea being put together in her head, and a big grin spreaded on her face.
“It’s the perfect plan! Man, I am a genius!” she giggled and she reached for her cell phone. She quickly dialed for Myra.
"Hey Diana. What's up?
Do you need a chat?"
"No, Myra. I need your Myspace account."
"Why? Whatever happened to yours?"
"Um, Mom shut it down," Diana lied.
"Well, you can have it anyway. I don't go on it that much. Well, maybe once in a while." "Thanks a lot, Myra! Hang on while I get a pen."
Diana logged onto her own account, so she could change her status as "away for a long time from MySpace." She then logs out of her own account and signs on again as Myra Rikhy.
Myra's Myspace was a very boring one. "If my plan's going to work, then it needs the right stuff. Makeover time!"
Diana started by changing the profile picture. Myra had her picture of herself in front of her house. It was replaced by a picture of her and Myra hugging each other. The layout became a purple polka-dotted with a curly font included. Diana began step two by going on Friend Finder to find Brian. She signed on to Myspace IM and crossed her fingers for good luck.
