"Diana, I’m really nervous. What if he changes his mind later on? What if he already did and got another girl to be his date?" Myra tugged nervously onto her dress on the way to the dance. "I mean, what if he doesn't like me? What if it’s all a trap?"
"Myra girl, do you trust me?"
"Course!"
However, Myra would lose her neighbor’s trust if she found out the Myspace impersonation.
"Brian would have told me if he didn't like you. He would have told me everything he was planning. But he didn't say anything! In fact, he was excited about going with you. So just shut up and get your ass next to Brian!"
Myra laughed and agreed.
The moment they got off their rented limo, Myra's other friends ran up towards them in their dresses.
"Are you Myra? If you are, I still won't believe you." They all laughed until they saw Brian, in a forest green tuxedo and a green boutonniere attached to his shirt, staring at
awe.
"Diana, who is this sexy chick of yours? Is it Julie? Naomi? Sasha?
Norah?"
Myra's eyes grew bigger than Brian's boutonniere and so did her grin.
"Well, your answers are wrong. This happens to be your lucky woman Myra. Oh look at
the time, should we get going?" Diana led the way followed by Myra and Brianthen her friends.
"Myra, you're really standing out tonight. I love that."
"And I really think it's cute that we're matching."
Brian looked down then gazed into Myra's eyes and smiled, which made her melt. They hooked arms and walked in.
Diana looked at her friend’s friends saying "They are so adorable together! Myra would be really happy if Brian asked her out!"
Diana smiled to herself thinking it was really going to happen her way.
"Brian, is that Myra?" Jorge asked.
He is the only other popular person who knows Brian's date wasn't Diana. "Myra, he’s cool to keep secrets with. He's Tiff's date."
"Oh yeah, she called and told she is in house drama traffic. So do your best and spend some time. I'll cover the others." Jorge pushed the couple into the dance crowd. Brian, Myra, Diana, and their friends occupied the back of the crowd and dance away. Diana decided to stay with them instead of the popular crowd to keep a sharp eye and ear. After a few songs, Brian and Myra danced to a slow song,
Diana's ear was in action as she drank her Perrier with her victorious feeling again.
"Myra, there's something I have been waiting to ask you since our first date. I think it's safe to ask since Tiffany's at the popular side."
Diana could sense Myra’s super nervous feeling. He was going to pop the item question. Diana wasn't scared at all. She had been waiting for this all the time.
“What is it, Brian?”
"Well, about our chats on MySpace…”
