Third person POV:

It was a normal day in hermitcraft season seven. Wels was talking with Etho and Beef in the shopping district when Scar and Bdubs walked pass. Wels stared at them, specificly Bdubs, as they walked pass probaly discussing mayor buisness.

As they walked pass Wels started coughing. "Wells, you good bro?" Beef asked. Wels wanted to answer but his coughing became louder and rougher. Bdubs and Scar emedeantly ran to them. Beef was trying to get Wels in a good position as his coughing became rougher.
"What is going on?! Should i call X?" Scar asked.

Wels fell on the ground as Etho kneeled beside him. Wels started to cough a few flower petals up with some drops off blood. "SCAR GET X AS FAST AS POSSIBLE." Etho yelled and Scar took off with his elytra.

"In the town hall there is a hospital room! We can get him there." Bdubs yelled as Wels slowly stopped coughing. "Good idea Bdubs." Beef said as him and Etho putted their arms under Wels his arms and they brought him to the town hall.

Tiny timeskip

fter ten minutes Scar arived with Xisuma. They saw Bdubs outside the town hall. "X!! They are inside, follow me." Bdubs said and X nodded. "Scar, stay here with Bdubs alright?" Scar nodded and X went in the room.

Wels was sleeping on the bed whilr Etho and Beef were talking besides him. "What happend?" X asked. "We were just talking and he suddenly had a coughing fit, then he started coughings up some flower petals with drops of blood." Etho said.

"Beef. Get Stress and Joe. Say it is urgent. Etho. Get out." X said sternly. Beef ran out and flew off while Etho nodded and got out.

Etho's POV:
I closed the door behind me as I walked out. "What is wrong with him? Why did Beef storm out??" Scar asked emedeantly. "I dont know, X didnt tell us anything besides getting Stress and Joe, saying its urgent." I said.

Beef came back with Stress and Joe while I sat down. Beef letted them into the room and sat down beside me. "Do you think he will be okay?" Bdubs asked with a worried voice. "Wels is strong, besides, Stress, Joe and X are great healers." I said.

Third person POV:

Wels slowly woke up, throat soar. "Ah, I see you are awake, do you remember what happend Wels?" X said. "Well... I was just talking eith Beef and Etho when Bdubs and Scar walked by. I was staring at them when i had a sudden coughing fit... The some pretty flower petals and blood came along.." Wels said. Stress, Joe and X stared at  eatchother.

Stress sat down on the edge of his bed. "Luv... You have anahaki... Its a rare disease caused by one-sided love... It can be cured by confessing and them returning their love or an operation... If not.." Stress said, staring at X and then back at Wells. "You will suffocate duo to flowers growing in your lungs..."

"..." Wels was silent as he teared up. Joe sat down beside him, rubbing him on his back. "S-so I will die?..." He asked after a moment of silence. "Well not if you confess or do the operation but with the operation you will also lose all your memories and feelings for that person." X said. "...hey will never like me back, but I also dont wanna lose my memories of him..." Wels said and he broke down crying. X sighed and walked out of the room while Stress and Joe were comforting him.

"X!! Is he okay?!" Bdubs asked wiyh worry and concern in his voice. X sighed. "I think this is something for him to tell ypu guys when he is ready..." He said. "You can come in, one at a time... Stress and Joe are with him.." X said as he left.

Bdubs looked at Scar and then at Etho and Beed eho nodded. He emedeantly got up and went into the room.

Joe looked up as Bdubs came in. "Wels?! Are you alright??" Bdubs asked. Wels looked up at Bdubs, crying. "Wels!!" Bdubs wanted to hug him but Wels started coughing again. "Bdubs. Get out." Joe said as Bdubs emedeantly got out. Wels started coughing up flowers and blood again while Stress got him in a bit of a comfortable position.

Etho came storming in, followed by Beef and Scar. Wels slowly stopped with coughing and Etho hugged him softly. "Wels what is wrong?..." Scar said, looking at the blood and flower petals on the ground. Wels looked at Joe. He nodded. When Joe was done explaining everyone was silent. "Wait... Bdubs came out and you were coughing does this mean-" Beef said. Wels nodded and looked down. They all went quiet. "I can distract him with mayoral work so you dont have to cough up that fast..." Scar said, breaking the silence. "I apreciate that but... I-I love him... And I would rather have those coughing fits then not seeing him..." Wels said while getting up.

"Please call me, Stress or X if you have one of those or if it gets worse, alright?" Joe said. Wels nodded and walked outside. "I dont think he will confess... When he thinks soemthing he will hold that thought no matter what someone else says..." Etho said. "Bdubs loves him though..." Scar said. "We will leave it to Wels and Bdubs... Unless we have no other choise... Now, everyoe go back to what to u were doing." Joe said, standing up and walking away.

Timeskip

After a few weeks Wels his coughing became worse. At this point full on flowers came out, still small though.

It was X his monthly Hermit campfire. Everyone was gathering in an open space in the forrest. Some were helping set up the fire while other were setting up a table with snacks and drinks. Everyone was sitting around the campfire when Wels and Etho came and sat down. "Alright, since everyone is here why dont we start of with anouncements and important stuff." X said making everyone go silent. "Well I would like to report a door bandit roaming around the server and stealing doors." Scar said staring at Grian. "Hey!! Dont look at me!" Grian said, putting his hands in the air while eating a marshmallow. Mumbo started laughing and soon enough everyone tagged along. "Well anything else?" X said after they calmed down, staring at Wels.
Wels shook his head no. "Alright what about some story telling?" X said as everyone agreed.

After a while they were done with their storys and Ren had started to play guitar and sing some songs. Wels stared at Bdubs when he suddenly felt a coughing fit coming up. He stood up and ran to the nearest tree while everone looked confused. He started coughing and soon enough flowers and blood came along as X and Doc rrushed to him. They helped him sit down on the grass as it became worse. The hermits slowly surrounded them, a few of them in confusion while others staring pitiful at the knight. Bdubs made his way to Wels and kneeled down next to him.

"Bdubs..." Wels said. "Wels?! What is going on?!" The small hermit said. "He has hanahaki but if he doesnt confess now..." X said. "Wels tell us who you love!! T-then it will be all fine!!" Bdubs said. "J-just dont close your eyes!!" Wels took off his helmet. "I..." He started coughing up more and more. "B-bdubs I... l-love you..." And with those words he coughed up one last time, a lot of flowers and blood coming with as he closed his eyes. "W-wels..." Bdubs said, choking up tears. He grabbed Wels's body in his arms, hugging it. "W-wels I... love you too..." Bdubs said but it was to late. The knight was gone as Bdubs bursted out crying. The love of his live. Dead.
