Just a sort of small thing to prove how protective Tanji is.

Okay so this is basically what the look like now- (3 weeks).

Tanjiro held a few of them in his arms, he sat on the couch, they talked to him but he couldn't keep his eyes off of them.

Rengoku sat next to him, and Tanjiro flinched, staring him dead in the eye.

Rengoku: Tanjiro you do realize-

He shook his head, a few a them chuckling. He laid on his back, allowing them to crawl on his (in the process of) un-swelling stomach.

He smiled, slightly sitting up. The pups couldn't really walk, so they stumbled and sometimes fell. They blindly looked at their other parents, who instinctively let their ears down and tails wag to appear more playful and less.. threatening.

They smiled. Muichiro grabbed one, and Tanjiro whined. He picked them up, sitting up now.

Sanemi: Tanjiro it's alright! We won't hurt them?

Shinobu went in to grab the rest of the litter, letting them hold the little things.

Tanjiro's breath became shaky, he watched everyone really closely. He really wanted to scream, they could tell because his face was puffing up red.

The kamaboko squad grabbed all of them, putting them back in their room to sleep.

Tanjiro literally broke down, he cried, screamed, yk. The FUN stuff from post-birth hormones <33.

Giyuu had to comfort him, holding him and such.

Giyuu: Tanjiro you can't go in there, they have to sleep.

Tanjiro: But..

His voice was quiet and extremely shaky.

Mitsuri: Shhh, sweetie. They'll be fine.

He cried into Giyuu's chest even more. The sounds of his sons were soon replaced by rainfall, they looked outside to see that the bright, soothing daylight was fogged by the clouds.

The wind scatted towards the glass windows, the sounds of water tapping at the wood. The cries of animals in the nearby forests. The colorful, whimsical, plants and insects were now hidden, somewhere safe with their offspring.

That reminded them of their own, how some of their children are now old enough to have kids of their own. They weren't even 40 yet. They were grandad parents though, great grandparents. They thought of all they had sacrificed to be at the point they were at.

Everything, everyone, they had lost. How much they have hurt, how much they have cried, how much joy has been filled in their life, together. How, it was always going to be that way.. till they take their last breath..

Together..

THE END- just kidding lmao. Have a good, blessed, and safe day/night my petals! I love you so muchhhh 💕
