Don't look at me like that!😂
One chapter a day, this is 12am the next day.
I'm trying to end this book in my WPS office, and these characters are just causing problems 😂
Anyway, if you read the author's note of the previous chapter, this chapter will give you a hint of what I was saying.
Happy reading!✨😗

An ardent reader!🔥💙♠ Tobiloba ♠
He saw Chetachi at the train station, texting and laughing on his phone.
He walked up to him and tapped his shoulder, “Chetachi."The fair boy looked up from his phone, his features broke into a smile when he saw Tobi.
“Tobiloba," he said acknowledging the other boy's presence.
Tobiloba had received a message from him on Saturday evening, that they had to be in school this evening,on Sunday to prepare the field for tryouts.
He fell into step with the other boy as they walked the short distance to their school.
The security men let them in after series of questioning and calling the football coach to be sure they weren't lying.
Tobiloba walked ahead of Chetachi as they got closer to the field.
This place brought back memories, and even as they spread the sand, marking tracks for the athletes, he reminiscenced on the memories it brought back.Jasper High Athletic Society had been his first win, he enrolled as a substitute goalkeeper, and eventually rose up to the position of second best footballer. He had realized in his Ss2 that football wasn't all there was in the sports sector for him, and decided to try out basketball.
People were sceptical, wondering if he would even stand a chance with the likes of Reuben and Christopher on the court, but Reuben had shown him the ropes.Chetachi dragged another bag of white sand towards where he stood, adding that they should finish marking the football field first.
He headed over to the storeroom, to get another bag of sand and Tobi decided to take a break.
Eniola burst out of the class block, holding something in her hand.
She looked around stealthily before sneaking behind the administrative block.Tobi followed her out of curiosity, a decision he regretted once he saw what she had been doing.
He turned to leave, but Reuben had already seen him.“Ahan, Tobiloba came here to catch cruise too o," Reuben said, pushing away a girl who he recognized to be a table tennis player from his class.
Eniola stood behind Reuben, dropping the vape pens she held in her hands on the floor.
Tobiloba turned to leave when a strong hand gripped his arm, squeezing the life out of it.
“If you tell anybody what you've seen here, you know you were my gee until you messed up, that's why I'm giving you this friendly warning." he said, his eyes were dark and Tobiloba kept quiet. He whispered in his spirit, asking the Holy Spirit what he should do, choosing the wisdom from God over what he deemed right, he nodded and left that place.
He walked away, turning his back only to face them, only when he had reached the open field.
Chetachi jogged over to him, asking him where he had gone, and also informing him that Chikamsi would be here any minute.
They were supposed to hang out together at Rainforest Cafe after this.
He invited him to join them, Tobiloba shrugged and agreed. He sent a quick message to his elder brother, telling him he wouldn't be home as early as he had expected, Tobi stayed quiet beside Chetachi as they waited for Chikamsi at the school gate.
