Jared Travi
I cepaceously went downstairs when the clock strikes at seven o’clock. I’m going to be late. I ate a pancake as my breakfast and drink my coffee before going to my car. I drove as fast as I can until I arrived at the studio. I entered my dressing room and changed my attire. The make-up artists also enhanced my appearance by pointing a small amount of powder on my face. As the clock strikes at eight, all were settled. When the director queued, I looked at the camera infront of me.
“Rolling! In 3, 2, 1, Action!”
“Magandang umaga, Pilipinas! Broadcasting live at Broadway Studio, Manila.” I greeted the viewers with a smile on my face.
“Goodmorning, Philippines. It’s a sunny day today, March 30, 2022. This is Milan Samaniego.” She paused.
“And this is Jared Jimenez. Serving you the most leading news!” I continued.
“For the headlines…” Samaniego continued.
I went back to my dressing room to change my clothes before going back to my car. I tried my luck again here and applied as an broadcast news analyst and thankfully, the management knew me because of my popularity in Canada back then.

My hands automatically touched the screen and type.
To : My little guy
Arat. Be there in 5 minutes.
I smiled as I turned on the engine and started to drive away. I turned on the radio and I felt lucky dahil timing na timing ‘yong song. It’s To The Bone by Pamungkas. It became my favorite song when I met Zion. The lyrics itself explains how much I want him and how hard I’ve fallen for him. I saw him standing outside while scrolling through his phone. I beeped when he didn’t noticed that I am already here.
“Hi.” I greeted and started to drive again.
“Hello, sungit. Kamusta araw mo? Ay, napanood ko ‘yong live niyo sa Facebook.” Sunod-sunod niyang sabi.
“How was my performance?” I asked while driving.
I heard him chuckled instead of answering me. “Ibahin mo nga ‘yong term mo!” He laughed.
That’s when I realized that what I’ve just said sounds something malicious. I parked the car on a vacant parking lot. We entered the restaurant and reserved a seat. I called the waiter and told him our orders. When the foods arrived, Zion won’t let me eat without taking photos of the food.
“Millennial things, huh?” I teased him when he’s so focused on taking pictures. He’s so serious so I took out my phone out of my pocket and took a photo of him. I posted it on my IG and captioned, ‘Mr. Photographer is sooo serious.’
He looked at me when as we both heard a notification sound. I saw how his reaction changed. He’s that type of person who loves to take photos but don’t want to take photos of himself.
