Dream stepped out the portal which lead to his old Au. Destroyed and deserted. His once 'happy' place, but that was destroyed by his dear brother. Well... as happy as he can get, that is. With all the responsibilities he have to take during his young age and to look out on all the people and monsters who have hidden intentions towards him and his family. Forced to mature fast but humans are more sneaky than other beings.

He wanted to help his brother but it was all too late. Too late.

'No, that is all in the past. We would never be family now.' Dream shook his head, trying to get the image out of his head about Nightmare having fun with his new found family. Dream sat beside his mother, who was now nothing but a trunk. Leaves and fruits were non-existent.

Dream's mind drifted towards the argument that happened a few minutes ago. He was scared. He was so scared that someone close to him decided to leave him for another. Him and Blue are close, he almost treated him like a brother- Hell, he might as well be.

"No no, I was trying to protect him, aren't I?" Dream talked aloud. He was desperate someone would reassure him, side with him, someone to see his point of view just for once. "Mom, am I doing the right thing?.." Dream said. But of course... he received no response.

Nobody answered as his Au was already dead. "What am I gonna do?? I only wanted what was best for him". Sniffles and hiccups can be heard from the skeleton. "Heh... of course, I only make things worse, aren't I? Like in the past, I didn't do ANYTHING TO PREVENT IT!"

"'History would repeat itself.'" Dream quoted. "Damn... I didn't think Ink would say something so true despited on not being so smart." Dream joked, but his smile quickly turned into a frown.

"I should've stayed being stoned. That way I won't get on anyone's way." Dream shut his mouth after he realized what he just said. "Stoned.." he repeated. "Is there a way?... I mean... I am not helping much in this godforsaken multiverse. I am sure brot- Nightmare can handle by himself."

Dream was silent as he rethink about this. It was traumatizing for him to be stoned, but hey! At least he didn't get on anyone's way. "No no, I shouldn't do it (yet)". Dream was tempted, he clenched his hands into fists. Slowly breath in and sigh out, Dream decided to abandon his ridiculous thoughts a few moments ago.

"Right.. I need to be matured and not jump into conclusions. After all, mother wouldn't like that, now would we?" Dream joked but his voice was monotone. "Blue is friends with Error, high chance on befriending Nightmare's gang too. He said there was a reason for him to destroy... is it really true?"

Flashbacks hit him. Ink telling him a lot of possibilities could be happening.

"That can't be happening." Dream was joking but at the same time not believing it.

"Impossibles can be possible if you know what to do. Even if you think those are not possible to happen, somewhere in a different universe or maybe multiverse, it is happening. You wouldn't know!" Ink babbled as he was drawing something on a paper. His eyes looked like it hold the wisdom of the multiverse.

Ink blinked and that was gone. "Oh! Dream! Since when were you here? Did I say something weird? I swear, I keep forgetting something." Ink mumbled the last sentence but Dream heard it anyway.

Dream won't be able to forget that moment. Something was so wrong and weird during it. Something was happening but he doesn't know what or even have an evidence to it.

"I'll... give Blue a chance. It wouldn't hurt to believe him, even this decision of mine could effect others." Dream shake off the memory he have when him and Nightmare were still kids, before the apple incident. Oh how he wish he did a better job and be more better brother on Nightmare. But of course, fate can be cruel as it is too good to be true if he did do a better job.
