A/N - I don't know how to write fighting scenes, sorry qwq Ah right, Ink isn't fully emotionless when he didn't drink his vials. It is more of a 'mind cleared, memories are showing, but after a few hours of nausea'.
Young Ink happily ran towards the living room where Cross and Reaper seems to be discussing things. "C! Reap! Come join me eat breakfast! I made it!~" Ink happily sang. He was proud he can make food without any help of his brothers. A few seconds passed, Cross and Reaper didn't bother to look at him and still continue to talk to each other. Though, it seems the conversation is getting heated.
"U-uh.. C?.." Ink nervously play with his hands as he look back-and-forth between Cross and Reaper.
"NOT NOW, INK! Can't you see we are busy here?! Ugh.. see what I mean, Reaper?! It isn't my privilege to look out for Ink! You are the older brother here! Let me have my childhood for once!"
"YOUR CHILDHOOD?! I AM WORKING DAY AND NIGHT! I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN TO FEED YOU GUYS! Ink is still young to look out for himself!"
"YOU AREN'T THE ONLY ONE WORKING, REAP-"
Ink decided he heard enough and walk back to the dining room. He sat down on one of the chairs, swaying his dangling feet, trying to disregard the audible shouts he heard from there. Tears forming on his sockets as the shouts were getting loud. Ink flinched when he heard the loud slam on the front door and that was his only indication that the argument ended, although not in a great note. It seems Cross went out the house as he still heard Reaper cursing on the living room. Then, heavy footsteps goes to the kitchen.
No noise were utter as Reaper makes his coffee. And after that? He was off to work, no goodbyes were said. Ink felt cold, lonely, utter alone in this household. He tried his best to not breakdown crying right then and there. The words were effecting him.
Is it really true that he was the problem? Reaper seems to work so much that he mostly didn't show up on the house anymore. Cross was also working, but comes home more than Reaper. If he didn't exist in the first place, Cross and Reaper wouldn't be suffering so much right now. Cross wouldn't have to worry that he still have to take care of his younger brother and just have fun with his childhood. Reaper wouldn't be working so much to feed one more mouth and buy things for him.
He really is selfish. He shouldn't hold a grudge towards his brothers, after all, they are trying their best. He felt he hold them down. Even wasting food and bills and other things he could think of. Maybe... next time, not to bother them, yeah?...
....
Ink blinked. He look at the work he has on his hands. His mind blanked, trying to think what just happened. 'Was that a flashback?' he asked himself. He stared, thinking it was not the time to reminiscing his past when he has a lot of work to do. He felt dizzy, wanting to vomit but can't. He hummed, trying to not think of what he is currently feeling. How much time has passed since he locked himself- voices trying to tell him that it was not him who lock him in here - up in the Doodle Sphere?
Voices. Ink, please get out of the Doodle Sphere. He heard voices. He once heard them when mother's 'protection' was weakened a lot. Ink decided that he shouldn't think much of it. He grabbed his chest, a place where his soul should be, as it has been hurting for hours. He should probably check out the aus or else mother would be furious at him. As he stand up, he felt weak, lightheaded, the feeling of his sickness become worsen. As he grab his huge paintbrush, he saw that his vials were empty.
That's strange and alarming... When was the last time he drank those? Mother would really be furious. Ink sighed as he opened up a portal to a random au by splashing some paint on the 'ground'. As he jumped through it, he saw strings tangled on the trees and buildings. Dusts were everywhere. Ink frowned as he took in the situation. Blasters and bones summoning where heard on the distance, quickly, Ink ran towards that direction.
