Chapter 4

In the morning at the Hashira meeting

"Ok who found out information this time?" Sanemi asked a bit annoyed. "Us... Why are you annoyed by that?" Obanai asked. "I'm annoyed at the daily meetings early in the morning!" Sanemi yelled. The twins entered. "The master has arrived." The twins said. All the hashira went to their spots. "Hello my children. There has been very valuable information found. Please tell us what you found." The master said. "We have reason to believe upper moon 0's name is Tanjiro and is Muzan's lover." Shinobu said. Everyone except the three hashira who knew were shocked. "My children why do you believe this?" Master asked. "We over heard all the upper moons talking about a demon named Tanjiro, Muzan being know to be VERY protective of him, and that this Tanjiro and Muzan are trying for a baby." Tengen said. Everyone else grew even more shocked. "A child of Muzan?" Muichiro asked. "My children do everything in your power to find this Tanjiro or his location." The master said. "Yes master." All the hashira said. "You are all dismissed." The master said. After the master left the Hashira had a small chat. "No one has missions tonight, correct?" Mitsuri asked. "No missions/nope/no" all the hashira said. "Why do you ask?" Obanai asked. "Well why don't we all go to the area that we have seen the demons and getting info to get more?" Mitsuri suggested. "GREAT IDEA." Rengoku said. "That idea is very flamboyant." Tengen added on.

1 hour later in Muzan and Tanjiro's room

Tanjiro and Muzan were asleep cuddling in their bed when Tanjiro woke up suddenly. He quickly got up and ran to the bathroom and started puking. Muzan was woken up by Tanjiro's hurried movements and ran after him. He got down next to his puking husband rubbing his back. After a few minutes Tanjiro stopped puking. "Hey are you ok?" Muzan asked holding onto Tanjiro and moving Tanjiro onto his lap. "I think I might be pregnant. Do you have to test?" Tanjiro said. "Yeah it's on the counter next to you." Muzan said. Tanjiro turned his body and grabbed the test. "I'm gonna take it, can you please leave the bathroom?" Tanjiro asked. Muzan nodded, Tanjiro stood up so Muzan could and left the bathroom closing the door behind him leaving Tanjiro alone in the bathroom. Tanjiro took a deep breath before taking the test. Tanjiro put the test on the counter and left the bathroom. "Now we wait thirty minutes." Tanjiro said a bit nervous. "Hey it's ok. You don't have to worry. If you're not pregnant we can try again." Muzan said caressing Tanjiro's cheek comforting him. "It's not that. I just hope I'll be a good parent." Tanjiro said a bit sad. "Honey you will be a great parent, I can read the minds of demons and and most of the upper moons see you as a parental figure, and you are very kind." Muzan said with a soft smile reassuring his lover. Tanjiro smiled back at him and held the hand holding his cheek. Tanjiro and Muzan shared a soft and loving kiss. "Thanks honey, but you didn't need to lie about the upper moons like that." Tanjiro said. "*Chuckles* who said I was lying?" Muzan said smirking. "Really? They feel that way?" Tanjiro asked happy. "Yes, Akaza, Douma, Daki, and Gyutaro see you as a mother figure, Nakime sees you as a big brother, while Koku sees you as a little brother." Muzan said making Tanjiro smile. "See you will be a great mother." Muzan said teasingly making Tanjiro blush. Tanjiro looked away blushing really hard "Can we just cuddle till we can see the result?" Tanjiro asked still embarrassed. "Haha, come on honey." Muzan said picking him up bridal style and taking him to their bed.

30 minutes later

Tanjiro was holding the test upside down to not show the results, sitting on their bed in front of Muzan. "Don't worry honey. Let's see the result." Muzan said putting his hand on Tanjiro's. "Ok, 3" Tanjiro started "2" Muzan continued "1" they said together turning over the test to see two red lines. Tanjiro and Muzan both started to tear up and laughed a bit . Muzan got up, picked up Tanjiro giving him a deep and passionate kiss., Tanjiro kissed back. He put Tanjiro down and put his hand and Tanjiro's stomach. "I love you so much." Tanjiro said. "I love you too babe." Muzan replied kissing Tanjiro again. "WHAT HAPPENED?!" Kokushibou yelled slamming the door opened thinking something bad happened. All the upper moons started coming in some confused and others worried. Muzan wrapped his arms around Tanjiro's waist, Tanjiro turned to them and showed his positive pregnancy test "I'm pregnant." Tanjiro said jumping a bit. Everyone upper moon got a look of excitement and happiness on their face. "Really?/OH MY/ CONGRATULATIONS!!" All the upper moons said. "IM GONNA PLAY WITH THE BABY, DRESS IT UP, AND HAVE SO MUCH FUN!!" Daki was yelling in excitement. Everyone in the room found this annoying while Tanjiro found it funny and started laughing. A few seconds later everyone else in the room bursted out into laughter.

A few minutes later after everyone calmed down

"Can we have a baby shower to celebrate?" Daki asked still exited. "I think it's a bit to early for a baby shower." Tanjiro said. Daki looked sad. "But..." Tanjiro said making everyone confused. "Maybe we can all go outside tonight? All together? Even just for a hour?" Tanjiro asked looking up to Muzan trying to convince him to go outside. Muzan looked down to Tanjiro who was doing puppy dog eyes. "...fine." Muzan said relectently. Everyone got happy. "But." Muzan said stopping everyone. "If a demon slayer even shows up Nakime will take us back immediately." Muzan said. Tanjiro smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "That's fine with me." Tanjiro said turning around to share a kiss with Muzan.

Right after sunset in the living room

Gyutaro, Hantengu, and Gyokko all had missions so they are out. Tanjiro, Muzan, Douma, Akaza, Kokushibou, Daki, and Nakime were all in the living room. Muzan was holding Tanjiro's waist, Akaza was leaning on Douma as he was hugging Akaza from behind with his head on the shorter demons head, Kokushibou was leaning against the wall, and Daki and Nakime were standing next to each other waiting. "You ready to go outside?" Muzan asked Tanjiro. "Ready as ever." Tanjiro said looking up at Muzan. Muzan kissed Tanjiro's forehead before looking at Nakime, "Nakime teleport us to the surrounding forest." Muzan said. Nakime nodded and played her biwa teleporting all of them to the forest. Tanjiro's eyes widened seeing how beautiful it is. "Sorry for keeping you away from all this for so long." Muzan apologized to Tanjiro. Tanjiro looked at him and smiled "It's ok, I know you just want to protect me and are afraid of loosing me. I'm scared of loosing you too." Tanjiro said giving Muzan a quick kiss. "What do you want to do, Honey?" Muzan asked. "Is there a meadow nearby?" Tanjiro asked. Muzan nodded "Can we go there cuddle while the others do whatever, but all of us in the meadow?" Tanjiro asked. "Sure honey." Muzan said with a soft look. He looked up to the upper moons "We are going to the meadow." Muzan said in his normal voice. They all began walking to the meadow. It took a few minutes but once they got there Tanjiro looked at the field filled with flowers. It was so beautiful to him "Hey, you ok?" Muzan asked concerned. Tanjiro snapped out of his trance and looked up at Muzan "Yeah, it's just so beautiful." Tanjiro said. "Not as beautiful as you." Muzan said smiling, Tanjiro looked at him and smiled. "Come on let's go." Muzan said leading Tanjiro to the middle of the small meadow. Muzan sat down, lightly pulled Tanjiro down next to him, and put his arm around Tanjiro's waist, and Tanjiro put his head on Muzan's shoulder. The other demons started running around and chasing each other, and yelling at one another causing Tanjiro to laugh at their antics. All of this noise alerted the hashiras nearby. They slowly went near the meadow and hid in the bushes allowing them to see all the demons.  "Is that upper moon 0?" Obanai wispered. "Looks like it." Shinobu wispered. "He is very cute." Mitsuri said a little loud. She quickly covered her mouth. Muzan looked in their direction. "Do you want to come with me and see what that was or stay here?" Muzan asked Tanjiro quietly so only he could hear him. Tanjiro nodded, they both got up, Tanjiro was holding Muzan tightly as they walked over to where the hashiras were hiding. As the two got closer the hashiras got more scared. Then a boy with a bores head came running and tired to attack the two demons. The bore head boy was followed by a lightning boy who was crying. "Blood demon art fortress." Tanjiro said making a see through shield appear. The hashiras came out of the bushes. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Muzan yelled while holding Tanjiro protectively. "We just want information on upper moon 0." Shinobu said. "Honestly we don't know these two but their timing was great." Tengen said. "Why do you want information on me?" Tanjiro asked holding Muzan tighter out of fear. "Your relationship with Muzan. We know you are lovers." Rengoku said. "Nakime teleport us back." Muzan said making the hashiras remember the other demons. Nakime nodded pulling out her Biwa, strumming it, teleporting them back to the infinite palace. "Nakime teleport Tanjiro and I to our room." Muzan said. Nakime strummed her Biwa again teleporting Muzan and Tanjiro to their room. Muzan brought Tanjiro to their bed looking into his eyes seeing tears in Tanjiro's eyes, scaring him. "Hey, hey, honey what's wrong?" Muzan asked very concerned. "Why did they want information on me?" Tanjiro asked holding Muzan's hands tightly. "I don't know honey, but I won't let them hurt you." Muzan said pulling Tanjiro into his lap, wrapping his arms around him. Tanjiro grabbed Muzan's chest letting his tears fall. "I don't want to loose you." Tanjiro said. "You won't loose me. I won't let that ever happen." Muzan said giving Tanjiro a kiss on the head. "To you or our child." Muzan finished. Tanjiro looked up at him smiling, moving his left hand from Muzan's chest to his stomach, giving Muzan a passionate kiss.
