I've beaten many powerful opponents throughout my life. I've pummelled MMA fighters to the ground and I've even taken out hundreds of gang members in under 10 seconds.
But never in my entire life have I felt such great sense of achievement.
"The sea is beautiful!" I smiled.
Since I've spent my entire life in the mountains and the rest of it with Arisu, I've never once seen the ocean with my eyes. Of course I've seen it described in books and in photographs, but I don't think this beauty can be captured by anything other than the human eyes.
"Having fun?" I heard a familiar voice beside me.
I turned around and was met by my good friend, "Hiyori!" I said.
"It's my first time seeing the ocean, so I guess you could say I'm having tons fun!"
"Well, I've spent most of my life shut in the library, so I think this is a first time for me too."
I turned back around and gazed at the beautiful light glistening from the waves.
"It really is beautiful isn't it?" I smiled.
Hiyori walked up the ledge and leaned on the railing, she then turned her head towards me with her chin rested on her hands.
"Yeah, it really is beautiful." She stated.
But, she's looking at me...?
Shouldn't you be looking at the ocean when you call it beautiful?
Suddenly, I felt a vibration from my pocket. I pulled out my phone and saw a message from Ryueen telling me to meet him at the bar.
"There goes my good mood..." I sighed.
"Ryueen huh?" Hiyori said, reading my mind.
I nodded in affirmation and waved her goodbye.
"I'll kill that bastard one day, I swear."
After a minor walk, I had finally found the bar Ryueen told me to go to and took a seat near the edge. Shortly after I sat down, Ryueen appeared and took a seat beside me.
"Kukuku, thanks for coming princess."
"I didn't know you were capable of saying thanks." I said sarcastically.
I looked around to see if anyone was listening in on the conversation, but it seemed like it was going to just be me and him.
"Are we talking about this upcoming test?" I asked, getting straight to business.
"Kukuku, observant as ever!" He complimented.
I took a sip out of some orange soda I got from from the vending machine.
"Well, with a school like this, we can never expect there to be no twists when it comes to events such as these."
"To cut to the chase, I'm going to be making deals with some members of class A, I just wanted to let you know in advance."
Oh? Ryueen was making deals with an enemy class? Seems very unlike him.
"Also, class A seems to be split up into 2 factions, the Katsuragi faction and the Sakayanagi faction.
My ears perked up at the mention of my old master.
"Good to know, then which faction are you making a deal with?"
"Katsuragi's faction, but I'm ultimately aiming to scam him."
I sighed in relief, I'd rather not go against Arisu anytime soon.
