"Is that really it?" I asked the purple haired girl in front of me.
"The fact that you can say 'is that really it' after what I just said terrifies me." She responded.
I tilted my head in confusion, this wasn't really that big of a deal for me. Although it does seem like something crazy for a normal person.
"Hey, are you really able to handle that?" Masumi asked seriously.
"If you've gotten to know Arisu sama, you should know something like that wouldn't even make me break a sweat."
Hashimoto chuckled. "You really are as incredible as she said you were my man!"
I blushed slightly, Arisu complimented me!?
Well I guess it was as more of a warning to her subordinates...
"And just like that he's turned from a demon into an innocent little puppy." Hashimoto stated.
"I'll come find you when I get the chance during the next exam, just sit there and wait patiently alright?" I said walking away.
This deal should be pretty beneficial for the future, but why would Arisu really try so hard to kick some baldy out of the class hierarchy?
I shrugged my thoughts away, I'm sure she has some brilliant plan in her head.
She always does after all.
I heard an announcement calling all the students in the school to the island.
We all stood in our classes, ordered from class D to class A, I couldn't help but notice the confinement in majority of the students, did they really not predict an exam during this cruise?
Suddenly Hiyori approached me, I could already predict what they came to ask for.
"Funaki, I think I left a book with-
I showed her a bag full of books I had brought onto the island as a list of my possessions.
"I packed all the books you couldn't carry, don't worry." I smiled.
Hiyori's eyes widened.
"Thanks Funaki!" She said, smiling back in response.
'Gosh, her smile is literally angelic.' I thought while staring at her face.
Interrupting our conversation, the class A homeroom teacher took a speaker and spoke.
"Welcome to the first special examination of the year!"
I looked around and saw many students whispering to each other in shock, while some remaining calm and logical.
'Just as I expected, majority of this school year is full of junk.' I sighed.
The teacher proceeded to explain the rules of the exam.
The classes were all split up, and we were expected to survive 3 days on this island with minimal resources, class points could be used for convenience purposes such as food or toiletries, but the main aspect of this exam was the 'point occupying' aspect. Essentially spots around around the island could be 'occupied' in order to gain extra points.
I sighed.
"Sounds like a bit of a hassle, wouldn't you say?"
Ryueen stood up from the rock he was seated on.
"Kukuku, not to worry little princess! I plan on crushing this exam!" The tyrant proclaimed.
I held the rulebook of the exam tightly, it sure had a lot of rules in it for it to be this thick.
