I found my way back to the camp and continued blending in with the rest of my classmates. Unfortunately this meant I had to continue playing tug of war with Ibuki and Hiyori, only I was the rope. The day continued to pass until we eventually split off into seperate tents.
"7 Days huh?" I said aloud.
"Kukuku, are you talking in your sleep princess?"
I sighed and turned my body to the side so I was sleeping on my hip.
Currently I was sharing a tent with Ryueen and Albert. Unfortunately, Albert isn't the most... 'Spatially conservative' type, meaning me and Ryueen have to sleep pretty close together.
"Shut the hell up, I'm trying to get some sleep you shithead."
The boy cackled maniacally in response.
"I never knew this was all it took to make you pissed off!"
I groaned, I highly doubted I would get any sleep tonight.
"Hey Princess, do you mind if I ask you a question?" Ryueen said, seemingly breaking character.
I had to admit, I was taken back by Ryueen's sudden politeness. Perhaps a spirit possessed him or something?
"Sure, go ahead."
Our tent was pretty isolated compared to our other classmate's tents, meaning whatever I said wouldn't be heard by them.
"What is your goal?" Ryueen asked, relatively straightforward.
I sighed, this situation was bound to occur eventually.
"I want to graduate from class A and receive the school's college admission bonus, pretty much the same as everyone else here." I said, omitting a heavy fraction of the truth
As I was facing away the magenta haired boy, I could feel his eyes burning a hole though my back, hostility being evident in his stare.
"You don't believe that at all, do you?"
"Not a bit."
I got up from my sleeping position and sat cross legged, all the while shifting my body's direction towards the sleeping tyrant.
"My true goal is something I'll only be able to tell you in the future, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to explain a bit."
Ryueen leaned his head forward in anticipation.
"I want to understand human experiences." I stated.
The boy looked at me with a puzzled expression.
"My entire life, I had only known a human life through books. So I want to use this school as a way to live a human life."
"You've... never lived a human life?"
I shook my head.
"That's why I wish to live one at this school, to the best of my ability."
Ryueen turned his head away from me and started sleeping.
"What a boring answer! I'm going to bed!" He said annoyed. Even though I couldn't see his face, I could tell he was feeling another emotion.
I laid down on my bed and prepared to sleep.
Don't worry Ryueen, I don't need your pity.
After all, you don't know about my true goal .
The next day went by relatively quick. Ibuki and Kaneda were picked out by Ryueen to be sent to the other classes, I couldn't help but feel bad for them, after all, they had to spend the rest of the exam infiltrating the other camps while everyone else got to go back to the ship.
