Her Sword: Classroom of the Elite

Hey everyone! I'm not gonna lie I completely forgot about this story for a while lmao, but I was looking at the # for 'classroom of the elite' and saw that it was somehow in the top 50???? Like tf?

Anyways, in my personal opinion, I wrote this story pretty bad, so many parts were just written cringy, and I never wrote the parts that explained a lot of things, like how the mc saw Ayanokoji as a kid, their 'true side' and 'true goal' (I actually had a reason for this other than being edgy).

But in my honest opinion, the story strayed from what it was supposed to be. Originally I loved Arisu and Kiyo's dynamic and being on the same level in terms of intelligence (I know according to the light novel Kiyo is probably still better, but you get my point), despite Arisu being weak physically. 

So I wanted to write something similar, but it would be the opposite, someone who was on Kiyo's level physically, maybe even stronger.

But it really ended up being more cringe manipulation and very strange acting moments (Ibu chan and Ichinose's whole bit). I had read the novel/manhwa 'Regressor instruction manual' while writing this, so a lot of those scenes were inspired by it.

But originally, it was supposed to be a dumb, oblivious, innocent mc who plainly followed orders and wanted to live a normal life (While also being a massive simp for Arisu of course).

I wanted it to be more lighthearted and actually chill interactions with ppl like Horikita and Kiyotaka (Despire what you may think, I'm actually a pretty big Horikita fan).

I also had like a bunch of funny scenes with Koenji planned out, like these genuinely made me laugh while planning them.

I also wanted to put in side chapters on the MC and Arisu in middle school and the shenanigans they would get up to.

I've re-read my story countless times and I wish I could change so many things, thats why I would like to propose 3 options.

1: I continue writing the story this way (more dark elements, more cringe elements and less original plot compared to other cote fanfics, also less wholesome and comedy scenes.)

2: I rewrite some parts of what i've already written and continue after I've done that (I can't promise I will do a good job with this, i honestly might just get lazy and give up lmao.)

3: I start again from scratch, same premise, but different main scenes that actually are bearable to read, I can promise that if I do this, I will put in quite a bit of effort to make a better story.

4: I should just give up on the story and continue being lazy lmao.

Whichever number has the most comments on it I'll probably do.

Or I could just get lazy and not wanna do any more writing lol.
