𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂. - Ishikawa x F!Reader

"Happy birthday, [Yn]!!" With a squeal, Yuki jumped into me from behind, causing my bag to drop from my hands and to the ground. "Thank you, Yuki" chuckling, I waited for her to get off before I bent down to pick my bag up with a small smile.

As I turned around to face her, my face was met with a purple wrapped gift that was neatly tied with string, underneath the string was a white envelope with my name and a heart next to it on the covering. "A gift? Wow thank you, you really didn't have to" I took it from her hands out of happiness and stared at it for a while.

"What's a birthday without birthday presents? Hurry up and open it!" Yuki then hopped to my side and leaned herself on my shoulder, eyeing me as I held the small present. "Okay okay, calm down" with a smile, I yanked at the string delicately and let it slide off to the floor. With a small gesture, I picked the envelope up.

Flipping the envelope opened I took the letter out and began to read it out loud. "To my bestest friend, [Yn]. Happy birthday! It's a pleasure to be your friend and I hope you have the best day ever, I'm lucky to have been by your side for these past few years and hopefully more to come" as I stopped reading, a smile flickered onto my face.

Now taking the wrapping paper off of the present, it revealed a small book that had the title '[Yn] [Ln]' on it. Now curious, I flipped the cover open and the first page was full of pictures of Ishikawa and I as kids, turning the page yet again it had pictures of the first day of Highschool and then to pictures of when I first became friends with Hori and Yuki.

"Yuki.." I gasped and turned to face her, she held a small smile and then hugged my side. "Tooru helped me with the photos, he also wanted me to tell you that he probably won't be able to greet you a happy birthday today because he's busy doing something else" her voice broke a little as she spoke, sympathetic for me.

That was two people missing my birthday now, Ishikawa and Iura. As I thought of him, my eye twitched realising that I had left Iura's present and letter at home and hadn't opened either yet. Guess I'd have to wait until after school now, what a shame. Sighing, I turned my heel to the schools doors, Yuki followed close behind me as we left to class.

"Why are you following me home again?" Suspicious of Yuki, I kept glancing at her from the side. School had ended and I had just wanted to go home to sleep the rest of the day away, I wasn't big on doing special plans for my birthdays. "I'm not following you home all the way, just walking part way to keep you company on your special day!" Yuki smiled as she explained.

With a simple nod I smiled, focusing my gaze back up to my house that was coming into the distance, I stopped in my tracks when I saw that the lights had just turned off from inside. "That's odd, Chika isn't usually home around this time" slightly anxious, I felt chills go up my spine at the thought of someone else being inside my house. "Hey Yuki.." I turned around to talk to her but she wasn't there anymore.

My face went purely white and my jaw dropped open, how could she have disappeared so fast and at a time like this?! Gaining courage, I then brushed off the thought of someone breaking into where I live "I have nothing valuable and I doubt Chika does either" with a quick shrug I continued to walk until I was then standing in front of the door. Hands reaching into my skirts pocket, I fumbled to find my keys before taking them out and pushing them into the doors lock.

The door then opened before I could even rotate the key, this had sprung me to go into alert. Did I forget to lock the door before I left? Slowly pushing the door open now, I glanced side to side but it was hard to see, the room was pitch black. Taking a step into the house, the lights suddenly flickered on, causing my soul to leave my body as I quickly turned to run away. "Wait don't run!" The sound of the familiar voice had startled me but also calmed me down.
