TAKEMICHI AGE 8:

"Mommy, why is grandma in a box?" a little boy asked his mother innocently.
The mother who have reddish eyes, cause of crying crouched down to her son's level and replied "Baby, please don't be sad okay? Grandma left us"

The boy tilted his head confused. "Mommy where is grandma going?" the little boy said.
"Baby, grandma's gone. He won't come back anymore, because—

—she's dead" his mother said, crying eventually.

The little boy pales. 'grandma? Grandma's dead?' as the realization sinks in, drops of tears starts to form in his oceanic eyes.

He cries and cries, tears fall. Seeing this his mother hugged him and whisper to his ears sweet words.

"There there my baby, cry. Let your emotions out." She trembly whispers.

Takemichi's grandma was important to him. She always look at him with care and love with her gentle blue eyes, loved him, even more than his own mother. Everytime he's sad ,she would cuddle with him. Everytime he can't sleep, his grandma was there, singing lullabies for him. Everyday she would bake cookies for him, even though sometimes he wasn't even hungry. Everytime he was sick, she would take care for him.

Takemichi would never feel his grandma's warmth again. Hear her angelic voice again. Eat her cookies again. He would never see his grandma again.

"Don't worry baby. She's in a good place now" his mother reassures him.

Takemichi woke up in a familiar room, his bedroom. It's been days after his grandma's funeral. But he still cries every morning and every night.

"Grandma *hic I miss you *sniff" Takemichi sobs.

"I miss you too Mimi" a gentle voice said.

"Gra—grandma?" he whispers. Confused, whips his head to the direction of the voice.

And there she was, his Grandma sitting on his bed, smiling gently. Shocked, he came near her. He confirmed that she is indeed her grandma.

But she was dead, how was this possible? He rubbed his eyes, but his grandma was still there.

"Ho—How?!" he loudly asked.

The old woman just smiles at him and said "Mimi, you see me?"

"Y—YES!" he shouted.

"Hush now Mimi. Calm down, your Mother might hear you" she whispers.

As soon as he calms down, he lunges at his grandma for a hug, but his hands went through him. Instead of warmth, he felt cold air pass through his tiny hands.

'Eh?' he was confused. Why did his Grandma went through him?

Looking at her grandson's confused face.

"Mimi, Grandma's a ghost now. That's why. You can see ghost Mimi." His grandma explained.

"Ghost? Grandma's a ghost now?" His grandma nodded.

"Aren't Ghosts supposed to be scary? You're not scary grandma"

"Some ghosts are scary and some are not Mimi"

Takemichi looked at his grandma, her skin was pale but her eyes are still shining. She didn't change physically except for her skin.

She's right, his grandma was dead and is a ghost now. He was happy though, he could see his grandma. He smiles at her, she did the same. The he remembers something, didn't his mother told him that she was in a good place now? Then why is his grandma still here. His expression change into anger.
